After a long day of travelling and sightseeing we dropped at Mahogany Ridge for dinner early on a Saturday night. We had Caribbean Chicken Wings, a Mixed Green Salad, and Emerald Burger (wow!) and a Mountain Burger. Good food and generous portions. From the tap we tried the Dave's Downtown Brown, the Spring Creek Stout, the Life O'Riley Pale Ale... More

We did a brief tour of three of Steamboat's four breweries (here, Storm Peak, Butcherknife, missed Mountain Tap). I'd return to Butcherknife and Storm Peak, but Mahogany was disappointing... operated more as a restaurant than a brew-pub. If you want a brew-pub, go to the others.

This place is simply awesome! The happy hour is only from 4-5:30pm but it's the best one in downtown. All drinks are half price and they have little bites that are 2 for $1 (the best were the ghost chili wings)!!! The carne asada tacos were $1 each and they were delish! The service was amazing and the bartenders were... More

Places that offer decent happy hours seem to be dwindling. Mahogany's was a suprise with their half off drinks and dollar apps. We had dinner as well which was reasonably priced and very good. Creative menu, good drinks, good service.

I went there twice on a recommendation and had the ceviche both times, which I found very tasty, hearty and inexpensive. It was earlier in the evening, it did get a bit crowded for dinner and drinks but not uncomfortably busy or noisy. Atmosphere is cozy with friendly but discrete staff, very peaceful for an early dinner, even in December.... More

Started (unknowingly to my surprise) during happy hour which is 4 - 5:30 every single day, with 1/2 price drinks (all/every drink!! from specialty cocktails to Scotch) so after two 16-year Lagavulin neat (only $9 at happy hour fyi) we went to HH $1 tapas (they offered ten different tapas for $1 so we got one of each) and they... Thought the ceviche could have been tastier. Service okay and restaurant was crowded. Drinks were good though.

We asked the locals where they would go and Mahogany always came up as a great restaurant and a great Happy Hour. A definite yes. $1 limited Happy hour with a decent selection. My friend said the mushroom truffle soup was great. We ordered the pretzel bread with cheese and it came with a grainy mustard and we added on... More

Always top notch food. Great prices for the menu items. They have a wide variety of menu items with selections for everybody. Absolutely love the lamb loin. Wine selection is very good and prices are pretty good. Their craft brews are also very good. Busy, loud and fun place. I've eaten here at least fifty times over the past 15... More
