the food is ok and kind of slow serves. the staff was nice but not genuine for a small town. the price is $$$$ expensive for the 3 star. they do have booz.

We stayed in Silverton for three nights and ate breakfast here three days in a row. That's how good the food is. Plus the staff is amazing and super friendly. Definitely plan to eat at Brown Bear!

I had the chicken fried steak, and it was just ok. Club was outstanding, as was the French onion soup. Fantastic staff.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, Brown Bear is one of our favorites for authentic charm, plentiful servings, pleasant wait staff, great beer on tap.

It's not fancy, but more comfort food. The food was hearty and good, but not refined. It's exactly what I expected. The price was great. The atmosphere, service and decor were great.

The environment was super nice. We went in december and most of the other businesses in town were closed up for the season. This place had enough christmas cheer for all of them tho. Food was good and the service was awesome.

Suggest you get there before the train people get off the train because if you don't the wait will be long! Get there before and all goes well. Good lunch, nothing miraculous but your in a tourist town so good, is good.

We were early for our snowmobile tour so we stopped in to have breakfast. Great food at a great price. Friendly staff and a cool historic building.

Lovely old building, great lunch, friendly staff in a quaint small town. We found the restaurant to be the only business open during our visit to Silverton, thank goodness as they were awesome.
