The kitchen team consistently serve really good locally sourced food with flavour that packs a real punch. Dishes are modern and imaginative, especially good regional vegetable selection always inspires. Small, shared dishes are the way forward for an interesting taste journey. This bar is at the heart of downtown Salida and always delivers a memorable meal.

We shared small plates. Bacon wrapped dates, steak, and a chicken dish (Mexican). All well prepared. You pay a little more for everything in Salida, but I still didn't think the martini was worth it. Ambience was fine, if you are seated facing the room. If you are facing the wall, you better have a good looking date because all... More

We spent three nights in Salida - two of the nights at The Fritz for dinner! So great we went back the next night. Food was amazing and not overpriced. We both loved the Chicken and Brie Sandwich! Service was excellent!

We recently stayed in Salida for two nights and ended up at The Fritz both nights because we loved the food and atmosphere! They had great cocktails and a great tapas menu! We'll definitely be back the next time we are in town!

One of the best restaurants in town , excellent food and service , we've had almost everything on the menu over the years , some of our favorites are the burger of the day (which is different all the time but always delicious and unexpected flavors) , the ahi tuna , the prosciutto manchego and pear sandwich, seaweed salad, the... The Fritz was by far our favorite place to eat dinner in Salida during our weekend here. It's a small affair, built into the old block buildings off Salida's down town, and the decor features local artwork. The staff were entertaining and friendly. We ordered three small plate tapas and were thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the food/price of... More

We stopped in after driving from Texas. The host was really helpful and recommended we share the small plates because they sounded so good. The food was great.

Eight of us stopped by The Fritz for lunch while we were walking around town. There was only one bartender/waiter and he did a great job taking care of our table. The food was great, I recommend the salads! The art work is very weird though!
