Tried this place while staying at the Hampton a mile away. Reviews were generally good. I would place it at the Chili's level or just below. Interior was dated and it showed. Friday night so I had the "crispy" grilled catfish. Well, I received one piece of fish about 5 inches long and 1"+ wide on a bed of rice... More

Black-eyed Pea specializes in "home cooking". The portions are more than adequate, and the food is delicious! The wait staff are very well trained, attentive and very respectful.

We were in Pueblo visiting our son for his birthday and stopped for a bite. The staff was courteous and the food was very good.

Extensive menu, excellent service, really good food and lots of it. Great value! Very good gluten free menu. When I ordered baked apples, the server came back to tell me the vendor had changed and the chef just did not feel comfortable with the new ingredient list. No problem, I just made another selection. The chef came out later to... More

We have visited black eyed pea a few times and never had a bad meal. The rolls are AMAZING and you get a lot of food for the price!! This is one of our favorite go to restaurants.

We walked from our hotel to this place . It was very busy but we not have to wait long . Food choices were great and the staff was great.

Worked in the restaurant business for 20 years I expect good service but sometimes just don't get it being a single female eating alone. They think you are not going to tip them. Food was good, service sucked!

We love this restaurant. The handicapped parking spaces are immediately adjacent to the building. The waitress did a great job and the service was quick. The food was great. The restrooms were clean. Whenever we're back in Pueblo, we will make this our first choice.

My husband got the slopper burger and really liked it. I got the roast beef with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Beef was good but very plain, and potatoes and coleslaw were not tasty at all. I could've made better food at home and saved the money.
