Came here with my wife and another couple. Some had combo plates, and I had Steak Fajitas. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I would come back here.

We have been here probably 10 times. Mostly we go because this is a small town and most of the restaurants are average. Tonight's take out meal was below average. The chicken was tough, we were to get dressing on the side and did not...get any. The mild salsa tasted like tomato sauce from the can. Sunday is never a good time to go here. The beef was really spicy tonight in the enchiladas and usually not that spicy. That is what I mean by the place is never the same.More
Love! Homemade, great taste, very affordable - what’s not to like? Family run, great atmosphere...they even have a psychedelic burro on the roof! Try the Grand Gold margarita.
Decent Mexican food. It was really cheap and filling. The quality could be better but it was all right. Really good fresh guacamole. Nice to get chips and two types of good salsa while waiting for out food. It was packed the night we went...but we still got a table without reservations.More
Lousy margaritas. No bartender, waitress makes them. We Ordered beef fajitas and shrimp fajitas. They brought me chiken fajitas, not shrimp.
Visiting from Michigan. Very good Mexican food. Had a combination entree and enjoyed the dish very much. Others with me also enjoyed their selections. Cold beer & wine. Would definitely go back.
How??....I don’t understand! Bland, indifferent service, and thrown together food. Because it has a good following we’ve tried it twice. Both times, meh. Burrito cold and watery premixed margaritas. Salsa tasted like tomato paste and chips store bought. Prices, while cheap, outweigh the quality. Disappointed.
Nice setting in the quiet/quaint area of Monument. (Not right by I-25.) Clean and comfortable. We sat in the covered patio area such was nice enough. Server was friendly and efficient. Food was good but not memorable. My wife enjoyed her green chile, but didn't...race about it. The sauce on my ribs was good, but the ribs were a bit over-crispy. (Not sure if the left them on the grill too long when they re-fired them before plating ow what. Seemed odd at 7PM on a Saturday night.) I would go back, but I'm not in a hurry to invite friends there or recommend it when there are so many options for tex-mex and Mexican food around.More
Always friendly. Good solid meal for a reasonable price. We go once a month or more and enjoy our meal and the friendly service. Oh, I think the foods good too.
Not much flavor. It seems most of these restaurants produce bland products to occupy the mass eaters. Difficult to find spicy or flavorful Mexican restaurants in Colorado. Salsa was like tomato paste in a dish, nothing to it. I've tried three different dishes and all...the same. Will not go back. (Flies were an issue but that can be fixed.)More
