This is one of our every year places on our Vail ski trip. Nothing fancy, Tex-Mex and some game. Great family place as you often see large family groups with young kids there. If you are a sports fan, especially the NY Yankees, there is an incredible collection of autographed pictures and other memorabilia in the bar, even a Babe... More

Drove 10 hrs. and decided to eat a quick dinner, forgetting it was St. Patty's day. Service was good, as was the food, despite getting quite busy before we were finished eating. Would definitely eat there again.

In a building dating back to 1901, you would expect some historic artifacts and memorabilia. But The Minturn Saloon takes that to a whole new level. Just about every inch of the wall space is covered with old photos, movie posters, newspaper clippings, and, yes, even an enormous snakeskin. The back of the menu provides diners with the histry of... More

The decor is a visual feast, the fire beckons, the beer is cold, and the menu is soo tempting. Stopped here at the end of a ski day and immediately wished we didn't have dinner reservations. The bar was crowded and service slow because of the one bar tender, but we didn't mind because of the comforting, relaxed atmosphere. We'll... More

Very cool place. The bar section is def old with several things that show it's age (floor, bar itself). The restaurant section doesn't have as much of the old timey feel but still cool. Food was not spectacular but good for sure. Friendly staff

The first time I skied Vail (9" blue bird pow day!), we ended our day at the Minturn Saloon via the Minturn Mile. It turned out to be one of the coolest experiences! Since that first time, I am now a full time Vail Valley resident and still love ending the Mile with a cold one at the Saloon. In... More

Had a good Mexican-style dinner, tuna tacos and beef/chicken chimichanga & excellent margarita. Had to go back the next day for dessert, deep-fried ice-cream. It felt like being part of something historic. Bizarre collection of dead things (bison head, anaconda skin, etc) and John Wayne & Clint Eastwood memorabilia. Classic

Have been coming here starting with my kids when they were little and now taking my grandchildren . Its a must stop for families and ski groups. Great mexican food, margaritas, great and friendly service, and easy with kids and large groups. No reservations so suggest getting there before 6:30 on weekends.

This is a place that should always be in business. Their burritos are legendary, though you should probably share if you are watching your waistline. :)
