In town over night after 40 years mainly to see the hotel and museum. This cafe is located in the historic Meeker Hotel, this is a real cowboy cafe. In for breakfast, I ordered the Wrangler-- biscuit and gravy with 2 eggs and bacon $ 8. Side of hash browns 2.50. Coffee or hot tea $ 1.50. Good. My Wife... More

Dog trials weekend always puts pressure on the hotels and restaurants in wonderful Meeker. The staff here was definitely aiming to please us all. We had breakfast and dinner here on Sunday. Food was tasty, as always, and the crew was responsive and smiling. Props to them!

Breakfast each morning at 9:00 meeting friends family. Breakfast they have bacon pancakes. Their 2-2-2 eggs, meat, and pancakes. Dinner selection was limited. Avoid the "smothered" grilled chicken, excessive spices the gravy was red. Listed was pepper-Jack cheese but no indication of spices overloaded. Suggest country fried steak for breakfast or dinner. Everyone raved about it.

Have eaten at this wonderful cafe several times, always good. Took my sister for breakfast and we weren't disappointed. I had the French toast, she had eggs, biscuits and gravy and a pancake, yes, she ate it all. Coffee was great, our server very friendly and eager to please. Not too busy so service was quick. Love the old pictures,... More

I wrote a review in 2014 and not much has changed -- we were here for lunch -- 3 people -- there were several unbussed tables - that remained that way during our entire stay, although the 2 waitress had plenty of time to chat it up in a different language (although we couldn't decide which language it was) --... The dinner is pretty good. It's a good place to get a steak in Meeker. The breakfast is good but the scrambled eggs are generally overlooked compared to southern scrabbled eggs. They are more omlet like. The atmosphere is excellent. You can go into the hotel area and see all the elk and other mounts. It's worth visiting and having... More

I was starving. I had eaten almost nothing since breakfast the previous day. I had a combo plate of biscuits and gravy, with an egg and two strips of bacon plus a large orange juice. It was all good and I was surprised how inexpensive it was. (I don't recall the exact price, but will try to remember to post... More
