Nice restaurant with good prices. I had the prime rib and was very happy with it. My son-in-law had the ribs and they were good, but a little more sauce would have made them better. Next time we'll ask for extra sauce. Overall it was very good.

Our group came here for lunch after our visit to a local facility was done. The dining room looks nice, can hardly tell it is part of an auction building. I had the reuben and coconut cream pie, both were very good. Prices seemed reasonable.

This as others have said is in the western slope cattlemen's livestock auction building, it is on the left hand side now onto the food! Got the build it yourself omelette, with ham, Swiss, mushroom and green chilies. That's one of the great things about Colorado they are very proud of their green chili and they are delicious! Service was... More

OK Jokes are always made about the restaurant that's connected to the sale barn. This has to be the nicest sale barn restaurant I have ever been to. The food is consistently terrific it it's breakfast lunch or dinner I've never been disappointed. If your tired of the same old same old in GJ. This place is great. I like... More

We had heard from a neighbor that the Strayhorn had amazing steaks and great desserts so we tried it. A short drive out of Fruita and well worth it! We had the Prime Rib (best I've ever had) and a New York Strip. Great flavor and the rolls were delicious. Salad very fresh with home made blue cheese dressing. Caesar... More

We heard about this new restaurant from a local TV presentation and decided to check it out. It's run by the same family who runs the livestock auction, and they have built an immaculate building to house both businesses. We found the interior of the restaurant to be nicely decorated in a cowboy theme, but the cream colored cloth tablecloths... More

While camping at Highline Lake State Park, we needed to go get some additional supplies and decided to eat at this restaurant that we didn't even know existed. They let us have our little dog with us on their patio area cause it was too hot to leave him in the car, and even brought him a bowl of water.... More

Nice cozy place, however it is a bit hard to find. They have an amazing selection of sandwiches accompanied with great tasting food. Too bad we didn't make it in time for breakfast, as they sounded great.

Located West of Fruita in Loma, CO. It is at the the cattle auction house so kind of unusual setting for a restaurant but the food is good and the staff our friendly. Prices are moderate.
