We went for a beer and appetizers while the band played. We got there and they were out of the appetizer we wanted, the beer on tap tasted like it was old. The woman owner was real verbally abusive towards a band member(employee) I had asked a question. I was referred to the owner by this employee and she went... More

Just stopped in for a beer while over in that part of town. More of a tavern/bar & grill feel than a brewery. They have TVs, pool tables and such. OK, the beer, I had an IPA that was pretty drinkable, Joan had a stout that was OK. We didn't sample any others. The place was a little hidden, so... More

Great inexpensive place for a beer and a bite to eat! Wings were flavorful - but they had limited flavor options. Cheese burger was amazing, Very thick and juicy! We got onion rings too and they were pretty good. Server was friendly and very considerate! They had live music going as well! Altogether a great place for a beer and... More

Nine brews in the flight. Great on the palate. I personally loves the smooth sweet citrus flavors of the Shandy and Golden Crisp IPA paired with the green chili smothered burrito that caught me by surprise! Yum! To me, this is a small space, good quality microbrew favored as a local laid back watering hole, good sports viewing, cool place... More

We dropped in on our last night in the Denver area (due to reviews on TripAdvisor). The porter is awesome and the agave wit is excellent as well. After reading the review mentioning the burrito "as big as your head," we decided to split one. We chose wisely--it is huge! Very tasty with hot jalapeños, delicious green chili and shredded... This was our first time here (since we live in Denver). We met some friends here to watch the Avs game...they live in Lakewood and have been coming here for years. Overall, this is a decent local bar. It's a little tricky to find though. We ordered their house brewed Chocolate Milk Stout and it was delicious! It's reminiscent of... More

Was in Lakewood for business. Looking for a hole-in-the wall brewpub to partake in Denver beer goodness. It was exactly what I was looking for: pub food, local brewed beer and off the path atmosphere. I won't fool you, this place is not fancy. Its not even hip (thank god). It's your basic bar, with pool tables, locals and no... More

Ok, I just moved to this neighborhood and decided to check this place out for New Year's. The Agave Wheat beer was a good microbrew and the bar tenders friendly and quick. Next, I got the buffalo chicken wrap and onion rings w/ ranch, expecting run of the mill bar food. I was blown away. The best buffalo chicken wrap... More

We have been visiting Ironcal bworks for several years and always enjoy ourselves. They have an additional brewer doing a fantastic job and a newer chef with very good eats. Super friendly!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this small brewery. I ordered a plate of nachos expecting what you usually get - a pile of broken chips with too little toppings. It was so nice to be brought out a heaping plate that had every chip perfectly placed around the plate in concentric circles. There is something about a place that... More
