Wait was about 10 minutes for a table on a Sunday afternoon and ended up sitting in the bar area. Moved to a different table as the first one was badly bent and leaning. Service was ok but not great. The sweet corn nuggets were really delicious, good black eyed peas for New Year's Day. The salmon was over cooked... More

Short and sweet here. The food was horrible. Seems like the items were reheated and over seasoned. How can you mess up a salad? Well this place can. GROSS. The service was nonexistent when we complained about the quality of our lunch items. Will not be back.

They closed our Black-eyed Pea a few years ago so we try to go to any locations we happen to be near. Three of us got the chicken fried steak and all said it was great. The only disappointed one was my grandson who got the kids cheese sandwich. He didn't like the whole grain bread it was served on.... More

We have been stopping here for years driving from the mountains to central Denver on hi way 6. The food is basic and the selection extensive. The senior menu has a good selection and is well price. This location has a bar ; the wine and drinks are inexpensive. I expect a good , basic meal at a inexpensive price.

This was a neighborhood favorite for us. Kitchen was not fully functional. Dinners arrived but no okra on my plate. Okra came when husband was nearly done eating. Other green side was out of stock. Beans were substituted but arrived as husband packed his leftovers to leave. I hardly had time to eat. Chicken fried steak was good. Beef stroganoff... More

We went here because of the large Selections to choose from on the menu but found the food just average along with service that was somewhat slow. Nothing bad here just nothing to write home about.

We were with a group of 8-10 and this was a good choice for dinner due to price and variety. I got the 5-vegetable plate, including the black-eyed peas, squash casserole, fried okra, sweet potato, and I forget the other choice. All were good, none were great. We managed to do a carry-out of a bread basket which was a... More

I ordered the new chipotle meatloaf and I'd get it again; it had just the right amount of kick. However, we waited over 35 minutes to get our check. I'm not sure how long we would have waited if I didn't take a walk and find someone to help us.

My husband and me went there early March. I ordered pork chops and he order liver and onions. OMG my pork chops were so thin and so tough you couldn't even cut them with a knife, my husbands liver was so burnt and the onions he said have been sitting awhile. The waitress knew we didn't like the dinner but... More
