Simply, one of the better Mexican restaurants I've been to when taking portion size, price, authenticity, and quality into consideration. A little salty, but not too much. A lot of food for not a lot of money. Their margaritas are also a deal in that you get a full pitcher of full-strength margaritas for around $20. Highly recommended!

We were seated quickly but it took about 10 minutes to see our waiter. When he did get to us, he wasn't friendly and was in a super hurry. The food ended up being very tasty and was served in ample amounts. I had the fajitas and they came with 6 flour tortillas which is far more than you get... More

I have eaten here only twice, but will never go back. I gave it another shot thinking I just picked a bad day, but it was still terrible. They did have good margaritas, but the food was awful.

Tasty margaritas, excellent tacos. I had fish, my buddy had shrimp and both very pleased. One warning, it is a little spicier than I wanted, and I really like spicy. Their salsa with the chips was very spicy as was their pico.

Good food, fair prices. Huge Margaritas $9.99 (medium). Too many chips, LOL. Very large portions. Excellent service. I had a steak fajita, overflowing pan. My wife had a chimichanga that was just huge.

This place is very close to our home, so we have tried it 4 times now. Every time the food has ranged between poor and mediocre. We've had rude and uncaring service once and great service the other 3 times. Unfortunately every time I leave I feel unsatisfied and disgruntled because the food was not good. I tried Chile rellenos,... More

The service and atmosphere were wonderful, and it was a fun place to eat. The salsa and chips were very good, but after that, the entrees were average.

I broke my longstanding rule about not ordering seafood at a Mexican restaurant. I got the halibut dinner (I know it's a long way from the Pacific) and it was excellent! Their salsa is also perfect. Loved the food. The young lady who served us was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

So the restaurant we were going to visit was closed. We noticed El Tapatio on the way so decided to circle back. So glad we did! We opted for outdoor seating and enjoyed the fresh night air and outdoor lights as we dined. I ordered fajitas as I almost always do when I'm at a Mexican restaurant and my daughter... More

I am actually said to write a mostly negative review because the food was actually pretty good compared to a lot of Mexican restaurants I have been to recently. My biggest complaints is the service. My husband and I came here for lunch after seeing a matinee movie at Belmar. We were seated right away and were given our drinks... More
