Gem of a place, everything from the bar to plates is old school stuff but it makes the place even better, food is outstanding lobster paella had more variety in it than the barrier reef !

This is seafood restaurant that does meat! Yes the place is a tired and looks like your house but the warm, friendly service and fantastic food (seafood) makes up for all that. The menu was vast and priced very reasonable, plenty of drinks including wine available. We had Lobster and Mussels as our starters, main course Hake special and paella... More

This is a seafood restaurant - food is very tasty, well cooked with good service and friendly staff located well off the beaten track. Clean - no background music. Poor wifi.

We had a wonderful evening to celebrate a birthday, starting with a drink in the bar and then dining in the restaurant. I had mussels followed by lobster paella, my wife had the lobster thermador, both cooked wonderfully . A great selection of wines including desert wine by the glass with attentive friendly service. We will definitely be back.

This is my second visit this year, it could have been my third but they only open a few days a week in the winter . The heating was off for some reason, so that reduced the impact, they ran out of whitebait so told me they could only give me half a portion. Yet when the bill came they... More

With the reviews being good for this place we thought we would try on our recent visit to Anglesey. What did we find? Absent welcome, very dated, tired 1970's decor, very below average meal and hugely escalated bill, my husband felt unwell until the morning after. All in all we won't be back for a second visit.

Having read the reviews before we went (including the negative ones) we weren't quite sure what to expect... Don't worry though! The seafood was delicious and the welcome was warm and genuine. The Lobster Pot has a real "family business"feel and the waitresses worked very hard and attentively to make our evening special. Tasty whitebait and fantastic grilled scallops to... More

If you've never been here, or if you have, I can't recommend the restaurant highly enough. Seafood of the highest quality cooked to perfection, local steaks if you prefer, or a surf and turf combo which I keep coming back to! Staff and owners are very friendly, and happily arranged starters as main meals for our daughters, and other adjustments... More
