Been to a few of their October festivals. They've moved the tables indoors to counter weather. The special menu had swinehoxen pork shank (great), traditional polka band live and one man band sets were interlaced. Nice active dance floor. Get the 1 liter beer. Food...More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Denver area. We have had great service and a quiet table apart from the active bar. The German schnitzel has been a consistent winner for us. A comfortable classy place to ear.

Went to Chinook before the Jack Johnson concert as there are not many choices that are real close to Fiddler’s Green. Now mind you, this is not the first time they have been bombarded with the concert crowd as this place is always busy before...More

Wow! This place really thinks they have something special, but they don't. Here's a $26 salad: spring mix, 1 boiled egg, 3 cherry tomatoes, 1 slice of bacon and 4 coconut shrimp. Over $50 for two lunch salads?! Ridiculous. And I was still hungry after...More

Visiting from NYC - didn't know what to expect - but very pleased with the setting, the food and the service. There were 6 of us - all over 70 - we were able to enjoy table-wide conversations without having to raise our voices.

Had dinner in the fondue/racketeering room. We chose the cheese fondue, beef raclette and sausage raclette options. Very interesting vibe in this room, the tables are set to warm the fondue and raclette area for that portion of the dinner. There were good selection on...More

First time at the Chinook based on recommendations from friends, and it did not disappoint. The Wiener schnitzel was excellent, and you need to pay attention to the customizations of the burgers. Hefeweizen was very good. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Worth the trip.

We visited the Chinook Tavern for lunch the other day and had the Southwestern steak salads - they were very good. The restaurant has a somewhat funky vibe, very good food and good service. Recommend!
