This was our first visit and we chose the restaurant because we wanted to have dinner prior to attending a show at the Avalon and it was the only place we could get a Valentin'es Day reservation on short notice. We are glad we did...More

I have extensively visited Spain and experienced a huge variety of tapas there. While the tapas at MX were tasty, they were a long way from the original. Americanized. The ones on bread were difficult to eat as finger food, but tasted very good. The...More

Date night. So, we thought we'd try someplace we haven't been. We asked for chips and salsa while waiting for our main dish. We watched our waiter take baskets to other tables before he came back and asked if we still wanted those. Broad offering...More

We thought..."Mexican Tapas? Really?" So will you. You'll find that and more here. Yes, you can get usual Mexican dishes here. Or Mexican tapas. There is a sizable menu. Our dinner was delicious, the portions were generous.

The food was ok. This is not a typical Mexican Restaurant, they do not serve chips and salsa with your meal but I can live with that. However I judge Mexican food by their salsa. They did not offer me any and when I asked...More

The server was only good thing about the dinner. My wife ordered fajita and plate was cold and meat was tough. My friend had salmon and did not finish his dinner. I had rellanos and have had better at chain restaurants. They are over priced...More

It was worth walking around downtown Grand Junction and locating this Mexican restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building. We enjoyed mojitos, and I had a light dinner of mahi-mahi mahi-mahi tacos (tapas size), and some chips and guacamole. It wasn't very busy in...More

Upstairs in Historic Downtown. Eclectic decor and interesting menu. Service was friendly and efficient. Started with a wine and a margarita. Shared three tacos. Two excellent, one just ok (piquin shrimp). Should have tried the bocatas. They sounded great.

Nice location, upstairs with nice lighting and decor. Tapas BAR with no bar seating and lousy Mexican food. Staff was pleasant but tried too hard to compensate. Food was not fresh at all. The best thing we ordered was a fish taco but still tasted...More

I apologize I think you are not familiarized with gourmet quality food & our margaritas are prepared with fresh lime juice along with premium tequilas. I am the manager & I do not watch soccer you must have mistaken that person with another patron.

You have to try it to believe it. Francisco and his staff are very detailed orientated. Menu is interesting and has some thing for everyone. Love the cocktails as well.
