Food was just cheap food microwaved and put on plates, the margaritas were sub par. Our waitress was fine, but the food was just bad. They brought my boyfriends food out and forgot all of mine for a few minutes, when it came out... Totally disappointed. Won't be back. Check out that "tostada"! Mmmmm soggy Ortega shell with microwaved cheese!

We usually order combination plates and always get a crispy chili relleno and one other choice. They also serve rellenos traditional style that you can get anywhere, but I love the crispy ones. This is the season when the chef makes pumpkin flan...and if you don't have room for dessert, take it home with you. It is SO WORTH THE... More

After growing up in the area, we came back to a favorite spot to eat growing up. We had good service, but the food was not up to what we would have liked to remember.

What a disappointing lunch. The food was just mediocre, I had the luncheon fajitas, the flour tortillas were old, the chips were stale. We used to eat here often over the past years, but it sure isn't the same. The servers appearance was not good, messy hair, unkept clothing, very unappealing. Will not ever come back.

I had lunch there yesterday. It was delicious, I ordered the bacon/chicken/ranch tacos, my friend ordered a combo of a guacamole tostada and a chili relleno. My friend raved about her meal all the way home. :) Definitely recommend! Starlieth our waitress has a great attitude.

We visited here for a girls night out and I had not eaten here in 10+ years. Now I remember why. Unfortunately, the food is bland and all tastes like it is premade food from Sysco. This is not good Mexican food by any means. If you like middle of the road less than spicy food, then this might be... More

We ate here for lunch around noon and it wasn't busy at all. The chips and salsa were good but the salsa at the Clifton location tastes better. We ordered Dos Burritos and they were both really good. They were pretty big and the chili was unique. The sopapilla sundae with chocolate was fabulous! The best dessert we've had at... More

We live down the street from Dos and have been going there for a decade or more. My wife and I travel a great deal and often try Mexican restaurants. We've decided that our local Dos Hombres ranks at the top. The food is consistent, the prices are reasonable, and we have our favorite dishes which we enjoy. The house... More

We lived in Grand Junction 30 years ago and ate at Dos Hombres (old location) nearly every week. Now we live in the Pacific NW and it's hard to find good Mexican food. We were driving through GJ and knew we had to return for a meal and some good memories. Despite some of the other marginal reviews, we enjoyed... More

3 years ago I vowed never to eat here again. Unfortunately, I broke that vow. Seated immediately, given chips and salsa, no water. Waited 25 minutes then went to the bar for a drink order. After another 10 minutes went to the hostess stand to see about service. Gave order, was revisited by server asking what one of the orders... More
