This was our second time to eat breakfast at Nick's and it didn't disappoint. Our son and daughter-in-law were with us this time (we're all from Texas) and we had so much fun here! Never mind the food, which is fresh, delicious and affordable - prepared by Nick in this small neighborhood diner. It's the total experience you won't forget.... More

Had the chicken supreme gyro, with a side salad. Good service, friendly. Only open until 2 pm. Open for breakfast and lunch.

This was a great hole in the wall place for breakfast. Went on Father's day and was able to sit right away. Its small and cozy but the elvis decor is so cool. Just remember that they only take cash but the prices are real decent. I would definitely go back!

If you don't include the food(which was very good) and exclude the service(also very good) and ignore the price(which was very affordable) Nick's Café is still the place to visit while in Lakewood, Colorado. Sometimes people travel all the way from Memphis for one of his offerings. It is a small establishment with enormous history...and you can't ignore the history... More

Nick has the best breakfast around. Little slice of Americana. Nick was good for Elvis and is still cooking for the best. Multiple regulars and Nick will remember your name. His food is great

Nicks Cafe is unique. He has been in business 29 years. Serves good food at very fair prices. Lots of Elvis memorabilia cover walls. For anyone heading out of Denver to the mountains on Hiway 6, this is the place to stop.

I read about this hole-in-the-wall restaurant in the Wall Street Journal early this year, but failed to realize Nick and company are minutes from our house. Get ready! This place had about 10 tables (plus 3 or 4 outside on a little patio), amazing prices, and a staff which is just "nice as pie". It is CASH ONLY, serves on... More

Ok my first trip to Denver and the hotel said it was a must try. They only take cash. It's a very small place with a lot of character. With 9 tables I came in at lunch and all but one was taken. I had the special gyro American burgers with fries it was great. A must eat. Bring your... More

Nick's offers homemade food at very reasonable prices. It is a cash-only restaurant so be prepared. You're surrounded by Elvis memorabilia as you eat; apparently Nick was a cook for Elvis. There is nothing fancy here... the coffee cups are paper, the water glasses are plastic. The food is good but not as special as we expected when Nick's was... More

Nick's Café is a hole-in-the-wall with great food and great service. We had to wait for a seat and the waitress made sure we had coffee while we waited. The food was tasty and fresh and the service was outstanding. It isn't fancy and Nick is the cook, but it is hard to beat. The walls are decorated with Elvis... More
