We always enjoy eating here & the consistency of the food has never wavered... It is delicious and one of our very favorite places to eat. We generally get the Katmandu sampler so we can have curries, tandoori, etc. The lamb in particular is so tender and flavorful. I've also had their spicy curried eggplant which is soooo good, but... Very friendly staff. Sometimes I don't know what exactly I am ordering, but I am never worried because everything is absolutely delicious.

I went here about 2 weeks back, we were coming back from Aspen and waited until we got here for food. To our luck the food was AMAZINGGG!! The Paneer Mattar was mind blowing, the Dal Maharani was simple and homely and the Onion Kulcha is recommended as well. The lady was very kind and warm! Great experience overall! Will... More

The food is OK, however, it's too expensive for the quality. It costed my family (2 adults and 1 daughter) $64 for the dinner, although we couldn't finish the plain rice. They do have lower priced item, like about $3 for a plain naan. However for the amount we paid, there are much better and higher class choices.

I had just picked up a friend from CMC at the top of the mountain when we both decided we were seriously hungry. On the way down the mountain road from the college we bumped into Nepal Restaurant and had both had good experiences with ethnic food in the past. So of course we both jumped at the occasion to... It's not at all Indian resturant. They don't know how to cook Indian food. They are just taking advantage of the Indian cuisine. We ordered 4-5 curry dishes some vegetarian and some non-vegetarian but to our surprise, all had exactly same gravy. We asked the server to put non-vegetarian to one side but she was not able to distinguish between... More

My family ate here one evening on our way back to Carbondale. We had read the TripAdvisor reviews and were glad that there were so many recommendations. However, the actual experience was not quite so good as we expected, although I have to emphasize that we are pretty strong Indian food aficionados, having eaten at many of these establishments in... We hadn't had much luck with food in downtown Glenwood Springs. And we didn't want to spend a fortune in Aspen but wanted to have some food before going over the Independence Pass. The curry at Nepal Restaurant was on a milder side (in accordance with the Northern Indian/Himalayan tradition, in contrast to Southern Indian dishes) yet flavorful and reasonably... More

We loved our food! Great service and huge portions. We took a chance of driving out of town for dinner. We were not disappointed.

You never know about Nepalese food in this area. I knew right away the place would be good as it was pretty crowded for an early dinner time. I went with 3 friends. We all enjoyed our food and would go back. They were able to make my dish with no cream so it was vegan.
