I stopped in here for lunch while touring the valley, and ordered a burrito smothered in green chili. They had two sizes, but I’d heard that the large one was huge, so I ordered the smaller version, and I’m really glad I did. After eating...More

We stopped for a late lunch on the way home from Santa Fe. This place is cute and clean. The staff and other patrons are friendly. Our burgers were perfect with the whole wheat buns perfectly toasted. We will stop again.

We stopped for breakfast and the food was really good. Service was excellent, the only negative is the cleanliness of the restaurant itself. Definitely needs a good and continual cleaning.

We occasionally pass through Fort Garland on our way to New Mexico. We always plan a stop at Old West. Now, the place is grungy: old tables, springy booths, and so on, but clean. Don't let this drive you away if you want some good...More

Small cafe ;service was good ; food was good. We ate at the Old West Cafe twice while we were visiting Fort Garland area. In fact I ate the same thing both times We were there; I believe it was called the Barbeque Slopper.

Very nice small town atmosphere with a friendly waitress that seemed to do everything but cook. The best part about breakfast was the bacon... nice and crispy and cooked just right. The sausage & egg relleno were excellent. The restrooms are not anything to write home...More

If in the area, this is a good place to eat. The food was good but nothing fancy. We had asked the lady at the museum where she would eat. She sent us to this cafe. The pies were excellent.

Good sandwiches at the Old West Cafe! Basics done right. BLT for me and grilled ham and cheese for my husband. Service was quick, but we were a bit ahead of the lunch rush that showed up by noon. Glad we beat the rush.

Stopped here for lunch on a road trip through the SW. Ordered green chili and a bowl of homemade chicken soup. Neither were very warm. Taste was average at best. Place could use a little updating and TLC.

I wish the owner would teach the cook how to cook hashbrowns....you could pave the road with them... Bit the service makes it okay.
