From being greeted with a "Happy Anniversary!" to an outstanding steak and crab leg dinner, to a celebratory piece of truly delicious "whiskey cake", this was a dinner to remember!

First time at the Ore House in all the 18 years coming to Durango. Steamworks is our usual, but decided on going outside the norm, and glad we did. Dont get me wrong, Steamworks is outstanding, but we were looking for something a little more...More

Food was great. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Prime rib eye and dry aged NY strip, both are good options. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a steak house. The whiskey choclate cake for dessert was most excellent, I would recommend it.

We came in without reservations, which usually happens, and were able to sit at the bar. The two bartenders were fun and full of stories as well as great service. We also met an old timer, Keith, at the bar who knew the history of...More

Our entire meal was fantastically delicious! However, be aware that anything besides your steak is a la carte - including any sauces you might like on your steak. My petite filet with gorgonzola crema (yes, it is fabulous) and mashed potatoes was $46. My husband...More

No space for a dog indoor or out - it's pretty small but the atmosphere and food is very very worth it.
