Have always had excellent service and food has been outstanding on every visit. Steaks and sides are amazing and the drinks match. Reservations highly recommended.

Hadn't been there in couple years. Was invited as guest so I went. Locals avoid this place with good reason. Ala Carte pricing and service is absurd. Baked potato came more than 5 minutes after steak? Delivery of appetizers was random, brought by couple of different servers. No cracked pepper for salad or potato? Can't get lemon with water, humm.... More

Wonderful night. The seafood items are also on point. Served family style with side dishes large enough to share. Ask for Taibi.

We had appetizers and steaks. Their house cab is a pretty decent wine. We opted for the baseball sirloins. We all raved about the steaks- better than filets. The ceviche and sampler appetizers are also "don't miss" items. We've been going here sporadically for 20 years. They never disappoint.

Wonderful restaurant. Exquisite cuisine. The choice of wine was great and not overly priced. Service was nice and efficient. The only thing is the restaurant is a little small therefore the wait is long. But it is worth it. Also is was very hot when we ate so make sure you have layers so you can peel them off

This is is a glorified beer joint, serving highly overpriced steaks and seafood. The quality of the meat is good, but you pay for all sides extra and everything is very expensive. For that price one should at least get a table cloth. Looks, smells and feels like an ordinary pub, not worth the money.

Had a ski cabin 2 miles from Purgatory Ski Area (Am very gratified that Purgatory has changed its name back). Would eat in Ore House many weekends while up skiing. lt is still (as of last summer) my favorite steakhouse. Being a westerner, I like the western atmosphere. The salads and drinks are good too. And the wine list is... More

We very much enjoyed our meal at the Ore house- it is definitely a little bit dressier spot (Texas apres ski attire was a little wrong.) the ingredients were very fresh and we loved the martinis!!!! This spot would be a great date spot!

Ore House is one of our Durango favorites. Great Service. Excellent food. We are suckers for their a la carte family style sides. Yummy! There is a reason its been here for many, many years.
