We stopped in for a quick bite and were very impressed with the great selections and service. Make this a stop on your next trip to Durango and you will not be disappointed. Right in the middle of this great town, just do it!

Stopped off on a Sunday afternoon for drinks and appetizer. Their nachos were delicious, good variety of beers, wines and specialty drinks at great prices. Enjoyed chatting with the bartender and hearing about life in Durango.

We only accept reservation for parties of 6 or more. If your party is smaller than that, we are extremely efficient and you should not wait long, if at all.

Description
Chimayo Stone Fired Kitchen is a contemporary American bistro with a southwestern flair. Fresh salads, creative small plates, artisanal pizzas, and fire-roasted steaks, chicken and seafood are prepared in twin 600+ degree stone hearth ovens in an open kitchen. The Owners have restored the interior of the historic Century Building on Main Avenue, revealing turn-of-the century Carnegie steel support beams, the original maple hardwood floor and decorative tin ceiling tiles, and the original brick wall. These historical elements, along with the expo kitchen, rollup windows, and 35-foot curved bar, create an urban industrial loft setting for a unique Durango dining experience.
