Love the old house. Personable service. Food has potential. Unique dishes. BUT the famed hash is high quality corned beef and cubes of potatoes, but that's it. Bland. Please use seasoning. The ribs are good, but not tender. The trout, which should be fantastic in this location and this time of year, was overcooked and inedible. Fried eggs were overcooked... More

I'm going to start driving up to Dillon just to eat here. This old shack is quaint and it truly does feel like a small town, family run place. The BBQ is out of this world, and it's perfect for a post hike or post ski lunch. Friendly service and prices that are out of this world compared to the... More

If you've read any of my other reviews you know that I prefer smaller local hang outs to chain restaurants. The Arapahoe is another example of why. For breakfast, my wife had the Taos omelet which she really liked! I had the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. The steak was hand breaded,a rarity any more. And the over easy eggs were... More

Been coming here for years on ski junkets to A-Basin. Dinner in the basement on Thursday nights, the BBQ ribs are a bargain and spectacularly good. We were back for breakfast on Sunday morning. again, excellent, though conventional breakfast items.

The Arapahoe Cafe is in Dillon, CO, immediately adjacent to the Best Western Ptarmigan Inn, in the midst of Summit County ski country. It is a small, and quaint bistro that serves steaks and burgers, BBQ, and various sandwiches. The food is tasty and plentiful, the service friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is homey, and the prices are very reasonable.... More

What a deal in the pub for Happy Hour. Half off appetizers! My first night I ordered the mussels.....huge portion and cooked to perfection! So good, I came back the next two nights! Very convenient to the Best Western.

This place doesn't look muh from the outside, and when you walk in it is a little bit like stepping back in time - no clip and glamour here... BUT, the ernie was instantly friendly and attentive and when the food arrived (promptly) it was great. Burger that wasn't your standard fare patty, but some real meat shaped in the... More
