This is a great restaurant and bar. Go early or at least stay away from the 5:30pm time as everyone in downtown seems to stop by after work. The beer is excellent, fresh, on tap and extensive. The food is also excellent. Our waiter had...More

Had a few meals here during a conference. Veteran waiter Frank M was great. We got our drink and meal orders very quickly. Frank could outdo some younger wait staff I have seen who could be his grand kids. Ask for Frank!

You feel like you are taken back in time at the Ship Tavern, to Boston even! It is a great spot to grab something to drink with a friend or business partner.

I'd never eaten here before, but my dinner companion had. He wanted the prime rib, but at 8PM there was none left that was rare or even medium rare, so he had a steak instead. I had a pasta dish that was good but not...More

I enjoyed comforting and homey feel that came with the nautical theme and decor of this pub. The beer selection was good and had some interesting and some local options, along with standards. The food was surprisingly very good; especially for the price. I had...More

Located inside The Brown Palace, Ship Tavern is one of many dining outlets in the hotel. This old school atmosphere is reminiscent of what a pub or tavern must have been like at the turn of the century. A good cross-section of locals and travelers....More
