Went with some friends to eat here. We ordered the spicy edamame and a few sushi rolls & nigiri. Enjoyed our meal, but staff was not very engaging. They were brief with us and didn't speak much. Not to say they were not good, just not engaging. I asked about some specials and they responded with a one word answer.... More

A friend talked me in to Sushi, as it was something I never really thought I would like. He ordered a variety of sushi and soup, and also Saki, and Japanese beer. I ordered the beef. I gave the sushi a try, and to my surprise love it and the soup. Beer was good too! Excellent happy hour and easy... More

My family and I love this place so much and will only ever come here for sushi when we are in Denver!! The food is amazing, try the multiple and booty call roll; too good to be true. Great appetizer options as well as great staff. The management is phenomenal, they should definitely be proud of what they have accomplished!

Don´t expect traditional sushi or makis in this place. All sushi are out there and original. Try a couple of them and where really good as well as some entrees. The bar girl is real nice and help us have a great time.

Visited Hapa while in Denver on a business trip recently and at the recommendation of a colleague. The sushi was excellent and the XXX roll was the best of all the rolls that we ordered; however, the banana bread desert with the toffee syrup was incredible! Hapa is located in a really neat part of downtown where the shopping is... More

My family of four did an overnight in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood. Hapa Sushi was a quick walk from our hotel in a very nice area. We were seated quickly. The servers were attentive and helpful but not intrusive. My son's chicken teriyaki entree was a large serving with great flavor. The spicy edamame was a nice twist on this... More

Hmm... To Hapa Sushi The food was good but the atmosphere and service left a lot to be desired. Upon entering the the basically empty eatery, the protocol for sitting was odd and asking the sushi chef questions was not well received at all. Usually the sushi chefs are cool and friendly but not here. Although the service made us... More

We have such a great evening - 4 adults, 5 children - food was amazing and so was service. I would absolutely rate this place for both couples and groups.

Just read their menu and the fun starts there. Their Orgasm roll is the best, literally. Everything they have in the menu is so delicious. The price is affordable and the staff is nice. I recommend always, either in Boulder or Denver.

I probably shouldn't even be reviewing a sushi restaurant because I won't eat sushi. But, my wife loves sushi and so we have eaten here and the other location several times. She loves the sushi...I I order their chicken. It is great...for a sushi restaurant.

The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! Incomplete parties will not be sat until complete.
