We ate here for New Year's Eve. The service was great and the food was FANTASTIC and very upscale. There was a special, limited menu for the night, so I can't speak for the regular menu. The atmosphere was fun - they had it all decorated for New Year's. I recommend asking for a table in the back. The back... More

We went on the 1st of Jan and this place was packed. We got a seat next to the bar, the seats were very uncomfortable. Our server was very polite and friendly, he did a good job bringing the food in time, taking in account the kitchen was very busy. The food portion are huge, and the food was ok,... More

Popped in for a beverage and a couple of snacks with a friend - superb cocktails and amazing apps - service was quick and responsive - would definitely stop in again when in town!

I love La Loma, but we wanted to try a new spot for Mexican so came to Tamayo. It was good, but I think I am spoiled, sorry! The menu it is a bit more limited, but has some interesting dishes. There is a section on the menu with guacamole, and there was a tuna tartare under it. I thought... More

I am vegetarian and very partial to mexican food. Our friend from Denver took us to this lovely and wonderful Restaurant with waiting room only and we found the staff friendly and quick to serve and offering suggestions that gave us all the flavors that would make us want to return.

Lively restaurant with good food. Margs are good but not very strong. A little noisy, but a fun atmosphere. Some good specialties.

So, I've been living in Mexico more than 10 years. This place is not a TexMex restaurant. It's decent, great location. Portions were decent. Traditional Margarita was good. Not hugely impressed with their menu. They could step it up a bit. Their desert menu did not impress us either. It was cool that they offer Cafe de la Olla. You... More

Had brunch at Tamayo before going to a play at DCPA and cannot wait to go again. Small plates of creative dishes you can share, a full brunch or and full brunch with bottomless margaritas....can you say Uber. Started out with some of the best guacamole I have ever eaten followed by several small plates. Every small plate we tried... More

Arrived at 7 ish on a Friday night and the place was rammed. We sat at the bar and ordered beers and sharing plates and had such a great night. The food was awesome and the staff were friendly and fun to talk to. Would definitely go back.

I had not been to Denver for a long time. So I just started walking and found this place in Larimar Square. It looked very busy, so I thought it must be pretty good. It is loud, but people are generally very happy here, so a lot of laughter and gaiety going on. I sat at the bar and was... More
