I had one of my best-ever restaurant experiences at Root Down. The food and drinks were creative and delicious, the staff was super-friendly yet professional, and the atmosphere was great. This is now my favorite restaurant in Denver, and probably top three all-time for me.

This spot came highly recommended. Limited menu for their farm to table concept. (Not a bad thing) Service from our server was really not very attentive. Our drinks ran dry more than once. We had lamb sliders and veggie sliders with sweet potato fries. The...More

Really liked the atmosphere and bet would be awesome in summer when the garage door windows could be opened. Tried the Classic Eggs Benedict and Zucchini French Toast (both unique and must have again)! Blood Orange Mimosa was fun treat as well!

We were looking for a trendy dining experience at a smaller venue vs. an industrial-strength restaurant in the city. Root Down seem to hit the mark. The menu selection was eclectic as we had hoped, but not extensive. Things moved along kind of slow but...More

Amazing food using locally sourced ingredients that help make each meal unique and tasty. For those who like a little drink in the morning they had delicious bloody mary's and mimosas!

Root Down's outpost at DIA's C Concourse is worth getting to your next trip a little early. The food is fabulous (natch), but the cocktails are out of this world. Carefully selected ice, thoughtfully concocted sips - the mixologists are on point. Airline travel can...More

Root Down is a very tightly packed venue with no major open space for a dog. As a dog owner, I wish US laws would be more like France where dogs in restaurants are a common event.

Unless we're going very early would try to find babysitter...is loud and crowded and unless your child is used to crowds would probably find somewhere else to go...many other restaurants around

Root Down aims to connect the neighborhood to a dining experience in the same way ingredients are connected to food. There should be a seamless bond between the elements and experience, which stimulates the senses and draws people in. Root Down serves “globally influenced seasonal cuisine,” which basically means we go where inspiration leads us. We’re not tied to one style or genre—we’re hoping to create one of our own. At Root Down we pride ourselves on striving to solve the ‘Omnivore’s Dilemma.’ We have created a dining spot where all dietary needs will be accommodated, including vegetarian, vegan, raw and gluten free; also allergies or intolerances are always handled professionally by the kitchen team. Our menu has icons reflecting this philosophy, though we always request you notify your server of specific needs. We look forward to seeing you soon!
