Terribly disappointed Tower Tap and Grill is closed during the re-do of its parent hotel. HOWEVER PARENT HOTEL sells a variety of energy beverage MONSTER- more variety than the 7-11.

I stopped into the Tower during a stay in Denver back in February earlier this year. I had an early flight the next day and had just driven into the airport area from business meetings in nearby Golden. I checked into my hotel and spent...a couple of hours on my laptop finishing off work-related activities. A few hours later I was starving, so I Googled local places to eat, and since I wasn't in the mood for anything too expensive and didn't want to drive all the way into Denver on a snowy night during rush hour. I found the Tower Tap and Grill and it, for the most part, had positive reviews, and since it was still a little early, I knew it probably wouldn't be too busy. The Tower is a typical sports bar with plenty of seating at the bar and with tables surrounding the bar. It was quiet even though it was starting to fill up with people mostly from the local hotels. The evening sports hadn't started yet so the crowd noise was average. My server came over and noticed I was struggling with the menu, and I told her that I didn't want anything out of a can or out of a box. She laughed and said, "give me a minute, let me see what I can do". She came back a few minutes later and offered to have the kitchen whip some chicken taco's for me. How could I say no? In the meantime, I ordered an Easy Street American Pale Wheat Ale from the bar. The Chicken Tacos came out and they were very good, I could taste the background flavours and could taste that the chicken was fresh and grilled to perfection. Yes, the Tacos were very good, and I can see why Taco Night on Tuesdays is a popular night at the Tower. My server came back to my table and helped me through the menu again, and noted that I was looking for something on the lighter side. A few seconds went by and she suggested the Shrimp Scampi to me. I was a little curious as I have had heavy Shrimp Scampi in the past loaded with cream and butter and other fats, so I asked if she was sure it a 'light' dish. It turns out that is wasn't as heavy as I thought. The shrimp was not too buttery, yet plump and fresh, the kitchen staff made a wonderful light sauce for the pasta, and my pasta was cooked to a La Dente, and topped with freshly grated parmesan, which yes, I indulged in a little. I've added 3 pics for you to see for yourself. It turns out that Tower Tap and Grill was a good choice, it was close to my hotel, the service was very good and the food was pretty good. If you're staying in the hotels on or near Tower Road, I would check out the Tower Tap and Grill for a cold beer and great grub!!More

In the wake of CV-19 many restaurants appear to be hastily making delivery and take-out options available with more regard for retaining profit than delivering a high quality take-out product. Our experience tonight with Tower Tap clearly reflected that. Picking up our food and getting...back to the hotel and discovered we paid full price for sub-par food and shoddy take-out packaging. Were it not for being exhausted after a day of travel and not wanting to hassle, we would have brought it back. The cup of dipping sauce that accompanied the french dip was poorly covered and got the sweet potato fries and sandwich bun soggy. At the hotel we didn't plates and tried cutting and eating the chicken off a too-small piece of aluminum foil that lined the paper box. After a few bites, the flimsy plastic fork broke and little pieces of gravy covered foil were irritating to come across. I finished the rest of the meal with my hands and a spoon. For $20, my expectations were a bit higher even for hotel food...More

We walked across the street for dinner and drinks as our hotel staff recommended Tower Tap and Grill. Our waiter John did a great job with a large group. Drinks were quickly served and food orders taken. I ordered their spin on a Cuban sandwich...and it was ok...nothing special and was served with ordinary French fries. Good selection of beer on tap.More

The food and service were barely average. The wait staff were too busy with new customers to attend to the one's they already had. The food was average, very bland and not hot. Convenient to the airport and hotels but that would be the only...reason to go there.More

Got in stuck in Denver overnight with a weather delay. Ordered the Bison burger w/ cheese and a side Ceasar salad. -- all quite good - Service was good (Megan). Parking - no sure we walked over Bathrooms were clean The dining area was quite...large, and the bar area was lively with a lot of travelers. It's more of a sports bar in the bar area. Had breakfast at this venue on Christmas Day. It's in the Airport area and we found the food to tasty and moderately priced for that area.
