Two adults, three teenagers, and everyone of us had a different mac-n-cheese variety. It was rich and creamy and warm after a morning on the slopes. Price was a bit high, but you expect that in a resort area. There was not a lot of inside seating, so we ended up on the patio. Thanks goodness for the space heaters,... More

My daughter loves mac and cheese so she loves MOUNTAIN MELT (it used to be called Red Hots and they did hotdogs, but their mac was so good that now they do dolled-up mac dishes and grilled cheese). Prices are typical for on-snow, better than Breck prices and the food hits the spot when you get ski-hungry.

We ate at Copper Red Hots twice during our stay here. It was just lunch but it was good. The mac and cheese - we had classic and with lobster - was yummy. Just the sort of good fuel for skiing you would think it should be. The staff here were super friendly and truly seemed to have a good... More

I had the Mediterranean Mac & Cheese and highly recommend it! The spinach was tender yet not marshy. The sun dried tomatoes were sweet and chewy. They fit perfectly with the rest of the party for a good flavor. The size was good for a comfortable full feeling before heading back to slopes for more runs. We sat in the... More

Although I hear they have really good hot dogs, I went for the Bacon Cheeseburger Mac & cheese because it was being made in front of me for someone else. They piled a huge scoop of mac in a frying pan, adding the cheese and meat in. Frying it till it's brown and a little crispy (again right in front... More

I have two finicky eaters and this is my son's favorite place. He had the Devil Dog with Chili, I had Satan's Chicago Dog and my daughter had Lobster Mac and Cheese. Thinking it would be standard ski fare, but the food was really, really good. Cooked to order in front of us and done really well.

The guys working here are so rude. The checkout guy argued with my niece, said she didn't order a bread bowl. Finally, he dumped her mac n cheese in one, which was hard and almost stale. When they served the tator tots, half of them fell out of the basket, guy said sorry not my problem. Lobster mac was okay,... More

Great place to go for lunch or after skiing all day. Reasonable prices for mountain food. I've tried different types of mac and cheese and it was all good. Hot dogs are good too. They closed at 4:00 the other day for an employee meeting. Not a big deal.

If you want to be abused by the staff, have a long wait for your food, and then have it be cold when you get it, then go here. Hot dogs taste as if they were removed from the package and not cooked. Chili over the bread bowl was cold. The line was out the door and then the person... More
