I heard about this place back in the 60s but tonight we took some dear friends that were visiting from California. We were not disappointed. The wine and beer selection was pretty deep. We also had a flight of beer that gave us a great...More

We had lunch yesterday in the Biergarten. It was a fantastic atmosphere on a pleasant Spring day. We enjoyed a very nice Warsteiner dunkel draft beer and a glass of house red wine. We ate schnitzels with brown gravy and mushrooms which were delicious. The...More

The restaurant building itself is a delight. Every room is solidly constructed and tastefully decorated with many charming and authentic German art and craft items. Lovely, large outdoor dining area. However, we found the food to be what I would call "steam table" quality. Decent...More

After having a few horrible experiences at this restaurant. My daughter wanted to give this establishment one more chance for her 16th birthday. My husband and I were a little hesitant especially after our rude waitress and lack of customer service for our anniversary dinner....More

This was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had. I landed in Denver and through casual conversation while getting my rental I said I was going to Colorado Springs and the attendant immediately mentioned this restaurant, from Denver! It’s so darn good I’m...More

Was in Colorado Springs for the evening and we went to Edelweiss. First what a treat sitting outside on the patio was. The Weinerschnitzel was fabulous and the Badische Platter gave a wonderful tasting of goulash, spatzle and two schnitzels. Definitely a wonderful place for...More

Food was ok. Beer selection seems good except they were out of many draft selections. New waitstaff so they are trying. We got to try a selection we didn't order. Oh well.More

Hi Dee, Sorry about the beers not all being available. All of our drafts are imported from Germany so we do run into stocking issues with them sometimes. I always try and substitute with another imported German beer but the menu may not always be...More

Hello We would like to eat at the restaurant but my son has nut/peanut, egg, shellfish, and sesame allergies. Wondering if he could get something here?

We can always make something from scratch that would satisfy all those requirements. When you come in take a look at the menu and talk with the server and she can coordinate with the Chef. Thank you!

For over 40 years this family-owned German Restaurant on the south side of Colorado Springs has served over a million happy customers. The restaurant invites guests to dine in one of its several rooms decorated with artifacts from Europe. With strolling musicians on Friday and Saturday nights, three blazing fireplaces in winter, and an authentic "Biergarten" in summer, you are sure to enter into another world as a guest at Edelweiss. The authentic menu with a variety of Old World German dishes includes Schnitzel, Bratwurst, and Sauerbraten, with newer-age items such as Flammekuchen and Maultaschen. For those not so adventurous palates Edelweiss offers other Continental fare such as Chicken Cordon Bleu, Filet Tournedos, or Fresh Salmon Filet. Imported German Beers and Wines can be ordered to compliment any of the flavorful dishes. The European-trained Swiss Pastry Chef bakes all of the desserts from scratch, so save room for one of the rich Tortes or pastries, or take some to go.
