This place is a little hard to find, as you drive into what appears to be a subdivision, but it is a nice break from the tourist restaurants that make up so much of Colorado Springs. From what my local host told me, the place has been there for years but is never busy. If the weather is nice, there... More

We had heard good things about the sunbird however we were disappointed. When we arrived we were asked if we had made reservations. We had not but we were willing to wait. We were not given that option we were ushered directly to the bar. While we had a good view of the city, the bar was very busy and... More

We stopped into the Sunbird on Saturday night for cocktails and dinner. Unfortunately, the first thing you notice when entering the restaurant is the smell of restrooms. The bar service was confusing because it does not appear specific servers are assigned to specific areas. As a result, we were overlooked for quite some time. Drinks were good. Views are lovely.... Went for Mother's Day Brunch, and loved it. Food was very good, with great selection. Atmosphere is pleasant, and view was great! We have seen this restaurant through many iterations of management (and name changes), and feel it is currently in one of its better phases.

Ate there with my family for dinner. Bar was incredibly rowdy and loud . Didn't see very much of our waiter Connor. Went without drink refills twice for over 20 minutes. Food was good but not anything you couldn't get anywhere else for less. The plus was the view. If you go at night they also have s'mores for desert... More

This place has been here a long time and frankly, and it's a classic. The food and drinks are good, as well as the service. Some would say it's dated, but I think that's part of it charm. If you go, the only place to sit is in the bar to enjoy the BEST part of it, THE VIEW. Is... More

So I am giving them 4 stars because of the beautiful views, which many CO Springs restaurants seem to lack, and because of the delicious, well presented food. The service however was disappointing, especially in light of the fact that it was a surprise party for my wife, and I had made the reservations more than a week in advance.... More

Nice view? Check. Great service? Check. Outside seating with fire pits? Check. Ordered the prime rib and wasn't disappointed. Solid piece of meat with minimal fat but still tender. I can't vouch for the other menu items, and probably never will be able to. The prime rib will keep me coming back for more. The only minor drawback is having... More

A 2 only because the 3 people with me said their meals were just OK. Service was good. I ordered the Beef Brisket, $ 18 with small amount of mashed potatoes and 4 small pieces of asparagus that was the included vegetable. It was disgusting at best. Simmered overnight in a brown sugar and tomato sauce that was soooo sweet... More
