IF customer service came down to our waitress, they would fail. She finally took our order, however, another waitress had to bring our drinks. Our waitress never returned to check on us and never brought our bill. We had to seek out the lady that was nice enough to help us. Our waitress would not even come out of the... More

Folks you can't go wrong with this place. We had stopped at the 8 mile place and it was overcrowded. So went down the street and found this great cafe. We were seated quickly. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing. Great service. Great stop.

Stopped for lunch after visiting the Royal Gorge. Good menu choices with all day breakfast. The service was extremely slow and we had to ask our server several times for things that should have been on the table already, i.e silverware. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and I ordered the fish and chips. Server returned to say they were... More

Easy to get to after visiting the Royal Gorge bridge and perfect before we hit the road through the mountains going north. Lunch special of fried chicken was a little too fried but the potato salad was good. Fried fish was nice and the steak fries yummy! Sweet tea was good! Fair prices at around $7-8 per plate. Our kids... More

We ate here at about 1:00 on a Tuesday. I had an omelet & my dining companion had a cheeseburger. Both were excellent, as was the service. Opens at 7:00am. Closes at 2:00pm. Breakfast offers typical menu & is served all day (til closing). Hash Browns were excellent. Also, sandwiches including burgers were offered. Several sides offered including onion rings.... More

The hotel we stayed at offered one of those bare-bones 'continental breakfast' deals, but we opted for something more substantial. So we asked around and were conveniently directed to the Royal Gorge Country Cafe. Full breakfast menu, the staff were friendly, the service was fast and the food was great! And looking out at the surrounding scenery was a delight... More

We had ridden our motorcycle to Royal Gorge, only to discover it is closed due to a fire, but the Country Cafe at the entrance to the park is open. They even have a photo book of all the damage to the Gorge buildings. We each had a breakfast burrito - my husband had sausage in his, mine was meatless.... More

Classic country food served sit-down or take-out. Breakfast is served all day and includes everything you'd expect at a country breakfast. Biscuits & gravy, eggs & omelets, regular & specialty pancakes, BIG burritos, and more. A variety of burgers are available for lunch along with sandwiches, pork ribs, fried chicken, fish tacos, and fish & chips. An excellent kid's menu is also available.
