I grew up in New Orleans, and was intrigued by finding Cajun food in Colorado. The Lost Cajun delivered! I had the boudin balls, and the jambalaya. Both were quite good. My wife had the catfish, and it was quite good as well. The beignets were OK. A little more empty shell than, say, Cafe du Monde, but the flavor... More

All I can say about this food is MMMMMMM!!! Seriously sooo delicious!!!! And the staff is so friendly and fun. The owner is very hands on and can tell he puts love into his restaurant. So pleased with our decision to eat here. Will definitely be back next time we are in Colorado! Can't wait for a Alabama restaurant to... More

Wow. Wasn't expecting this type of food to be this good this far north. We tried a little of everything thing and had no complaints. Can't wait to come back. Waitress was very helpful.

It's a small, cozy place - nothing fancy, but when you get your food - bam!! Tastebud explosion!! They have a basic menu, and we tried a little bit of everything and we loved it all!! Staff was friendly, and attentive. Will go back, and take friends.

We had a lovely meal and VERY good value. The menu is limited but the food served was fresh and really well cooked. The catfish and oysters with homemade tartare sauce were excellent as were the beer battered prawns. Only downsides- restaurant was VERY hot, uncomfortably so and the 2 waitresses were run off their feet with table service and... More

This is a must try!!!! If you like food from the south, especially Cajun, this is the place. A little slice of the Deep South right here in Colorado. You can't go wrong with the gumbo and jambalaya. You must finish the visit with beignets.

Good location, on Main Street. Small Restaurant and EXTREMELY Too Hot! We literally walked in from being dressed in layers of snow clothing to getting undressed down to base layers. Felt like a double sauna. Workers said they had no control of the thermostat. We would have to open the door every now and then to get some cool air.... More

This was our favorite place to eat this week. It was so good we ate here two times. When you come in they bring you a sample plate with six different cups and it is so hard to decide which one is the best. Everything we tried was so good. It is truely authentic cajun food. Try this and you... More

We were a little unsure when we decided we wanted to eat at a Cajun place in Colorado, but we decided to be open minded. And LOVED it. This place is so neat, when you arrive they give you 6 samples of their soups! I had the crawfish etouffé and it was delicious! This Cajun food was so good! The... More

The Lost Cajun is a small, nicely decorated Cajun style restaurant. Always a friendly staff and if you want, they will serve you samplings some of the foods on their menu. We always ask for it, just to decide which meal we want on this trip. We have eaten there before, always enjoys everything we have had. This is one... More
