My husband and I tried this restaurant on a beautiful but cold day in Boulder. We were warmly greeted and then taken up a few flights of stairs to a table. We ordered the tavern burger with fries and the chicken and biscuit with sweet potato fries. Lovely meal on a lovely day.

Our family of 6 had lunch at The West End Tavern while visiting Boulder. It has a nice warm and welcoming feel. We all enjoyed our food we had chili, salads, steaks, stew and a chicken sandwich everything was yummy. I had the chili and it was good. If you are in the area it's worth a stop.

I've gone here for drinks and food several times. It's a great spot and does have some good food (try the cornbread skillet!! You won't be disappointed!). I also enjoy their drinks too. There are other places that are just as good and better, but this is still a place we frequent and enjoy.

Really nice warm bar atmosphere. Very good food. My wife got Brunswick stew and a salad and I got the brisket plate. We got the burnt ends as an appetizer and they were great. A return trip would mean the burnt ends as an entree and the Brunswick stew as a starter. We recommend when in Boulder.

The food here is overrated in my opinion. I've had way better BBQ at many other places. Also, prices are a little high, but that's typical of Boulder.

The West End Tavern was suggested to us by a local. It is a great place to have some drinks and grab some food with friends. The bbq is grilled on site and I we got the sampler platter. My favorite was the links but the pulled pork was very good too. It has a great selection of local beers... More

This is a special place - great decor and atmosphere, efficient staff and service, delicious entrees and sides. I was walking along West Pearl Street and the Tavern just called to me. I'm very glad I listen and walked in. It is an intimate, welcoming place. I will be back!!!

Last stop of the evening for dessert and drinks. Tried a bourbon concoction that was a bit heavy on the Absinthe, but overall pretty good. Desserts were simple but good. Brownie, blueberry cobbler, peach fried pie.

West End is an oasis of delicious normalcy among their fancier competition on Pearl Street. The burnt ends are worthy of Kansas City, and the fries are fresh cut, piping hot and crisp. Huge additional seating area upstairs on a covered and heated rooftop. Great bar selections, friendly staff and good prices make this a go to place when u... More
