I've been going here since about 2001 occasionally. It was a decent lunch place, good value. Sometimes we have had very good dinner meals here. Last night I got take-out for the family but was pretty disappointed. We got pad thai, pad see ewe, peanut sauce stir fry, and chicken green curry. The pad thai was pretty bland. Needs more... More

I think "poor" is a really fair rating for this restaurant. The noodle dish, with vegetables I ordered made up with heat what it lacked in flavor, i.e. very hot, not very tasty. As for the vegetables, not very many. Even though I was the first customer for lunch, it took too long to be noticed and then too long for... More

Delicious food, good prices. Fast delicious Thai food, but be careful of the heat level. The medium is like hot at most of the Thai restaurants I have visited. I had the hot and it was quite spicy. They also had Thai hot, if you really want to live dangerously. I'm afraid to try that and I like spicy food.

I've never had Thai food so my friends insisted I start at Khow Thai. I'm a picky eater so I was really hesitant but I really enjoyed it! I got fried rice with chicken and it was delish. You get a lotta food for around $12. The crab won tons were also good. The building itself was rather small and... More

The food is great, as is the service. Our water glasses were always full! It is a very casual atmosphere in downtown Boulder.

Wow, has this place slipped. The sweet and sour was drowned in some sort of red sauce. The food arrived late, the check was presented before we were finished and we had to ask twice for an extra plate. They were also pretty stingy on the rice sides. What's more, we were asked to order by number, as if it... More

Spring rolls were good, seafood dishes average, soup not what authentic thai should be, service friendly and fast, food average quality, not on par with the likes of an Asian fusion restaurant near by which was outstanding with fresh cilantro, scallions, mint, etc.Needs a good thorough cleaning. The floors were dirty, so we're the bathrooms. Was a bit disappointed since we all love Thai food.

We tried this place for lunch in our search for a good Thai restaurant in Boulder. Don't bother going to Khow Thai. Grungy and dirty looking inside and we should have left before sitting down but we've tried hole in the wall spots in the past that were good. Entrees are served with soup and spring rolls. Soup was a... More

Labeling a Thai restaurant in North America "average" is both a compliment and damning. The standard for Thai food here is pretty dang high, in my experience, and this place offers very good Thai fare. That said, the idea I'm not offered the opportunity to enjoy a Singh Ha or any other beer with my Thai meal borders on offensive... More

The parking lot is awkward and super cramped - just like the tables inside, set at angles around a curved wall that wedges people in when they sit on one side. The interior in general is shabby, dated, cheap and a little unkempt. The service was slow even though the small restaurant wasn't full. The food was surprisingly average, if... More
