LOVE the Walnut, we always get a great breakfast here! I think they have the best gluten free blueberry pancakes in the world, ok at least from what I have tried.
You can tell from the moment you walk in this cafe is locally owned, with an emphasis on customer service and great food. The menu is GREAT for vegetarians, as well as bacon-lovers! I highly recommend the Eggs Marcos: scrambled eggs with bacon, cream cheese and melted cheddar, served with two sides. And they offer a wide range of homemade... More
Met by friendly, efficient staff with an eagerness to serve tasty food with many options. Great place for a fun breakfast for all ages where you can sit indoors or outdoors on the sidewalk. Fabulous desserts, too, like the butterscotch cream pie.
Whatever breakfast you want, they have it here. Excellent choices, service and the food was super tasty. It's a strange location in a strip mall, but it was packed, even on a Sunday morning when all the shops were still closed. Great place if you want a big breakfast served with a smile.
Walnut Cafe has a fantastic array of breakfasts, any of them really good. The clincher, however, is their dill sauce. In good weather, you can eat outside. Try... More
Had a late breakfast here today. A local Boulder Eatery. Great tasty hardy breakfast of a pain-Jane scamble consisting of onion, green pepper, cheddar cheese, ham and eggs with a side of fried pototoes and fresh fruit cup. Very filling and very good. Reasonablely priced. No frills, low key.
Had the Jazzy Chicken Salad sandwich, it was delicious with grapes, celery, almonds, and raisins. Liked the option of having an apple with my lunch rather than fries. We were a party of three and were seated inside in a booth, but there are tables inside and out, also. The coffee drinks and iced tea were also good. This was... More
Great food, great portions, prices good for Boulder, except the $3 "large" (hardly large) OJ poured from a plastic gallon jug. Staff friendly.
The omelettes are delicious and so are the banana bread, breakfast potatoes and fresh fruit. Every day the offerings are different and the vegetarian options are great. The servers are very friendly and extremely efficient.
