Do not expect fancy place or amazing service. The place is Ok. But food is really good! Pricing is ok. Will go back.

We've gone here for sushi twice in the last several months. We thought the sushi was excellent and that our waitress was too (we had the same waitress on both visits). The decor was very plain, but that suits us just fine as we are very casual.

Great location in Chapel Square featuring Asian, Thai, & Sushi. I liked the bright sunny interior. Casual & comfortable. The Owner was behind the Bar preparing Sushi. I ordered Tiger Prawns & Veggies Tempura with seasoned dipping sauce ($9.95) Szechuan Shrimp Entree ($18.95) with Fried Rice Food tasted the same as it does elsewhere. Same veggies ~ broccoli, zucchini, carrots,... More

Their sushi chefs are top-drawer. Service is simply bad. To deal with that reality, I suggest coming in with plenty of time and planning on several rounds of sake and conversation.

Went for sushi and a drink with friends. Ordered a bunch of rolls to share. Nice selection of sushi rolls. Our server was helpful and knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. The rolls were tasty and our server was very attentive. The atmosphere is somewhat plain and sterile, although I did like that they were playing some New Orleans jazz... More

I like it here though I do wish the decor were not quite so bare and tired. It would make a huge difference. The chairs are cheesy, the carpet thread bare. My caterpillar roll was good, the pan fried dumplings could have been more delicate and less heavy, and the pad Thai was just so so.

Nozawa has for shure one of the best sushis! Try snow role, double double or atomic role. Sitting at the Sushi bar is the best!

Nozawa at this venue used to be Masato's, and although the name and the chefs have changed, the sushi is still excellent. One of the things that has changed from the past is the service: it's excellent and even and entire super-large boat of sushi was prepared for our party of 7 in record time! The fish is fresh, the... We went to Nozawa's in Vail nearly every year and we were so sad it closed. But Avon is not far away and they have the same great food, scrumptious sushi, accommodating service and off-season special. We had 3 "boats" of sushi, so we tried nearly everything. They have some of the best vegan sushi in Colorado and crunchy rolls... More

I have celiac in addition to an allergy to dairy. The server, Tony, was wonderful in working with the chef to come up with a gluten free sauce that I could use as a substitute on the very tasty Assorted Seafood dish. My friend had the Basil Garlic Stir Fry and was very happy with her meal. This place will... More
