Mothers Day. We arrived at 9 pm looked at business hours posted open until 10:30 pm. We were told at front that they were closing because all they had left were beans and rice. I don't recommend this place since it was supposed to be a celebration day and they tell me they are out of food.

Always busy. Very loud due to the acoustics of the rooms. The Convenient location for those just stopping for a meal before traveling on. First drink is good but those following are pretty watered down. The food is served at the correct temperatures, and is pretty tex-mex, but that was ok.

Casa. Ramos is your typical Mexican restaurant- beans and rice and whatever else you order..very traditional. The plates are large so you definitely get mucho food. I personally prefer a more refined style of Mexican food - more imaginative and creative.. I ordered the fish tacos and they were quite good. They also serve a huge Margarita.....

My family and I have been coming here ever since we moved to Yreka. It's a guaranteed good meal. Nothing fancy, just a solid Mexican restaurant with large portion. The staff is pretty attentive and they are always nice to out children. On Sunday's they have a discount for kids meals. Yreka doesn't offer a lot of variety but this... More

We've come through town many times, but only staying at the Yreka RV Park & never going out to eat. We decided to try something local & found the Casa Ramos Restaurant. We went early - 4:30-ish. Our waiter, Gustavio, was trying to take care of the entire restaurant, along with the bar & did an excellent job! We tried... More

My wife and I had a late lunch here. She had the shrimp diabola, and I had a combo plate of chile verde burrito and chile relleno. The food was hot and tasty. The beans and rice were pretty much what you would expect. The salsa and chips were pretty darned good. The service was spot on, but there were... More

This was a different style place than what you normally get when you go for mexican food. It was a nice change of pace. Great place to eat and it was close to our hotel.

Ask the wait staff about specials and favorites. Yummy. Will definitely go again. Get the bacon wrapped prawns.

stopped here for a quick relaxing bite traveling thru on I-5, great location being right off the Interstate but was not what I expected. The staff was very friendly but the food needs huge improvements. First the chips that came with the salsa were old and cold, not what you expect from a Casa Ramos (and I've been to a... More

Casa Ramos is my favorite restaurant in Redding. They have great choices and I have tried most of them. My favorite dish is Carnita Fajitas and my wife likes Carnita Urupan. I don't drink but I habe seen some margaritas that make we want to! Tom
