Alice’s Restaurant (intersection of Skyline and 84) is fun and has good food. I had the barbeque beef brisket, which I liked a lot; and the bq sauce was tasty. The Cole slaw and chips were OK. My friend enjoyed the eggs Benedict and potatoes, both of which she liked. The waitresses were fun, attentive, and pleasant. We sat on... More

As you're riding along on skyline Boulevard up in the mountains, you come across this cool place with all these motorcycles and cars outside. On the weekend it can tend to get a little crowded but during the weekday it's very cool with no wait. The food is dependable and there's a lot of interesting paraphernalia hanging on the wall.... Very interesting and well worth a stop. It is located on Skyline Drive Route 35 which runs along the crest of a low mountain range. It is a beautiful scenic drive on a two lane road. The resturant is rustic and sits by itself in a Redwood Grove. Typical diner food, hearty breakfasts and hamburgers. Favored by friendly motorcyclists. Only... More

You can't go wrong with a stop at Alice's for breakfast, lunch, or just a cup of coffee or a cold drink, Great food, fun to sit out on the deck at one of the big picnic tables, and maybe even meet some new friends who share a table with you.

Rustic place in the middle of a wooded area. Chili burguer is fantastic. Good beer menu too. I love this place!

Alice's is a unique and interesting restaurant. Have been there every time I am in the Bay Area. Worth the drive to have breakfast. Marvelous food and great breakfast cakes.

I wanted it to remind me of the Arlo Guthrie song. And sure enough, it did. My wife, daughter, son-in-law and I picked the Friday after Thanksgiving to venture up to this old establishment. As expected it was a busy weekend and the wait time was 45 minutes. We took our pager and took a look around. Adjacent to the... More
