Location and contact

Fey Restaurant is the heart and gem of it's owners, James and Han Ying. Fey, an acronym of it's well known Chinese name Fu En Yuan, has existed for more than 20 years in the Bay Area. Their reputation for purely authentic and taste bud popping Sichuan and Northern Chinese food is impeccable and a definite must try. Come in for your favorite luncheon special or even have a party in our beautiful and elegant VIP room (advanced bookings please!). We will also be bringing you a new specialty, Chinese Hotpot (Fey style of course!). Instead of sharing a large boiling pot with people around you, you will have the luxury of your own. Come on in and experience Chinese food with style. You won't regret it.

After all day travel was hungry for Chinese food. Within walking distance of my hotel was Fey. Great menu with many different options to choose from. Service was very good and prices reasonable. Two things stood out as different to me: you pay extra for...More

Excellent place to eat real Chinese food. The food was delicious, plenty and surprisingly not very expensive. The best Chinese food I've had for a long while.

I have NEVER been disappointed with the food here. In fact, I chose this restaurant against all others in the Bay Area for my Birthday dinner. Highly recommend:' - Twice cooked tofu - Spicy string beans with port (better with pork than tofu) - mushu...More

Many menu items you don't find at any old Chinese restaurant. Their Szechuan dishes are wonderful as well as their mu-shu. They also serve hot -pot dishes

Try the cold dishes; beef trip, noodles and ligaments, then add the vegetable recommend by the server. With this menu, one would experience Chinese food like no other in the area. The reception is cordial, the menu is little crowded and doesn't do fair to...More

I work near here and have grabbed lunch from here several times. It has a great variety of delicious dishes and it is very popular with a lot of locals as well as travelers to the area. I always see tour buses parked outside. And...More

I don't know where to start. I guess I'll start with the bowl of fried dough sprinkled with sugar that came out with tea while we were reading the menu...not chips and salsa, not bread, but amazing tiny doughnut strip things! The Hot and Sour...More

We benefitted mightily from having a native-Chinese host order for us ahead of time--tons of dishes came pouring out, with several standout items: the seafood soup, the vegetables, and the cold spicy noodles were all very good. As is traditional, most items have a large...More

We stopped in for late evening soup, Wonton and Hot & Sour. The soup was amazingly flavorful. Huge portions and great service. Priced reasonably as well. Wide variety of choices on the menu had us wanting to return. Highly recommendable!
