I love this restaurant! Small delicious plates---order one or two--great prices. I like to sit in the back at a food bar overlooking the kitchen--I like to watch the chefs cooking up the orders. The restaurant is great, it has a great bar and outside...More

This tapas style restaurant with great wine pairings is probably one of the best go to restaurants in Walnut Creek. Always good. Everything on the menu is tasty, just know that it is small plate. And really fun and good wine flights. Take a chance,...More

Very testy, high quality food. Bistro is not cheap considering size of portions, but definitely it is the place to visit. We been there many times and every visit was not disappointed us. At evenings usually reservation required

The scallops were excellent and the wine samplers were amazing. Our server was knowledgeable and engaging. I really enjoyed my dinner here.

its all about tapas and wine here. Their menu use to be much more extensive in the past, but the fewer dishes they have now probably represents their best. Great wine selection too.

A great place to go for a friend’s meet up. Make sure you have a reservation! Food is fantastic! Wine flights are good with someone to answer all questions. A little tight seat wise but very European feel.

Va de Vi is a very solid wine bar. The wine director rotates them in and out, but always has great flights based on varietal, region, color or something else. The food is great for sharing. There are several things that we always get. The...More

Everything on the menu is fantastic. But if you like pork belly, you’ll LOVE them at VDV! We sit at the chef’s counter so we can watch them prepare the food. Love this restaurant!! Definitely 5 star!!

Go online to see recent menu items. My vegetarian daughter had a hard time but she's also glutin & dairy free.

Description
Va de Vi translates to "It's all about wine!" in Spain's Catalan language. Of course, it's all about food, too! Chef Brad Zeller's menu encourages diners to explore and share a variety of eclectic, international small plate portions. Bold tastes encourage diners to explore the large international wine list, easily navigated by tasting notes. Many wines are offered by the glass in addition to pre-arranged flights to allow diners to compare different wines and discover new favorites. A warm, casual elegance defines the ambiance. Outdoors, dine under an ancient oak tree or grab a table in the picturesque lane.
