Va de Vi is quite nice, trying to be a European style bistro. The interior is nice and classic and the menu and wine card is inspiring. The service could honestly be better, being a bistro does not mean being to relaxed. But the food...More

We always have a fantastic dining experience here. The atmosphere is lovely and service is impeccable. Don’t miss the chocolate soufflé.

Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Established downtown eatery of more than 10 years and they do a great job!

Between the Lamb Tagine and Grilled Octopus and the many options for wine flights, Va de Vi is a bistro and wine bar a step above the rest. Charming outdoor patio on a warm evening can't be beat for ambiance. We ordered a nice bottle...More

A truly great place for food and wine. Service was knowledgeable and un-intrusive. Loved the wine flights, and all the recommended small plates we ate complemented wine. We ate outside on their beautiful patio. Highly recommend the Bistro.

The outside deck under the oak tree is beautiful. And the food was very good. However, service is fifty percent of a restaurant review. Our lunch had several missteps, including incorrect wine, delayed food, crowding the entree dishes onto the table without clearing prior plates,...More

The food is fantastic although portion are small and it's pricy. I love the ambiance and especially love sitting outdoors by the large Oak treel.

This is always a great place to meet up, share plates, enjoy flights of certain wines, and appreciate the quaint decor. Outside dining in his weather is a plus.

I walked by this place a dozen times. Finally I stepped inside to see what all the chatter was all about. Service, food and ambiance were on point. The staff made me feel like a regular. They helped with menu selections and the wine suggested...More

Go online to see recent menu items. My vegetarian daughter had a hard time but she's also glutin & dairy free.

Description
Va de Vi translates to "It's all about wine!" in Spain's Catalan language. Of course, it's all about food, too! Chef Mike Fischetti's menu encourages diners to explore and share a variety of eclectic, international small plate portions. Bold tastes encourage diners to explore the large international wine list, easily navigated by tasting notes. Many wines are offered by the glass in addition to pre-arranged flights to allow diners to compare different wines and discover new favorites. A warm, casual elegance defines the ambiance. Outdoors, dine under an ancient oak tree or grab a table in the picturesque lane.
