Great selection of food all prepared perfectly. My wife gets the eggs Benedict which she says are among the best she's had. I eat everything and everything is delicious, with large portions. I usually take food home. This is a great place for couples and family's since it's a large restaurant with several areas for seating. The deserts are unbelievably... More

Really enjoyed our meals here. Generous food serving. Very tasty. Reasonably priced. Good for families. They have huge pies here too. Pumpkin pies. I didnt try one cause I was so full from the food. Make sure to try the parmesan cheese chips. They were yum.

We stopped here for late breakfast (breakfast is served all day) while in the area. The wait was longer than we would have liked but we were able to find seats at the counter. Our meals were outstanding. I had chicken fried steak, which was served with two eggs, potatoes and a biscuit. Each item was perfect. The gravy was... More

We were in Vacaville for a few days and visited the Black Bear twice. Both times my husband and myself had something different and it was all delishious. It's nice to get home cooking on the road.

My husband, father and mother in law and i, went there this morning for a quick breakfast, the food came out quick and hot. They are a little stingy with the gravy. They give you big biscuits and then just cover the top. So over all a good experience.

Stopped here for an early breakfast on the way to SFO. Service was fast and efficient. The food was a good - typical for a decent breakfast. Black Bears are consistent. Good solid food. Nothing special.

I travel a lot between Chico and the Bay Area and this is the best place to break the trip on the way back and have a meal. The food is well prepared and plentiful.

I've eaten here many times. There's often a long line that moves rather quickly for the number of people waiting. The food has always been tasty and what you'd expect. The staff is friendly.

The portions are HUGE. I ordered breakfast, my friends ordered the daily special Prime Beef. It was fantastic! The beef filled the platter. My friends took the rest of the meal home. Very good service. My breakfast was very good. I will be back for the beef.
