Used to be great, but the original owners have sold the place. Look at the gorgeous pictures and read the great reviews - they are all from before the new people took over. That beautifully presented sushi in the pictures is nothing like what is being served at this restaurant now.

this little hole in the wall serves the very fresh fish. the sushi melts in your mouth. the bar is omakase style (i.e. chef's choice, "trust me"). you keep eating until you're full. but be careful, it adds up. you definitely get what you pay for.

Nice sushi restaurant, clean and trendy. The sushi is above average and value is average. Could get crowded.

If you didn't know it was there or someone didn't recommend sushi wasabi, you wouldn't know it existed. Best quality, extremely fresh sushi. Very casual. Come in, sit down and let the chef take over. ... And reasonably priced.

You couldn't tell that this is a high ranking sushi restaurant by its exterior. A hole in t the wall restaurant in a small strip mall is what you're going to see. But looks are definitely deceiving. This chef goes to the LA fishmarket every morning and handpicks the food that he's going to serve for the day. Sit at... More

The sushi here is fabulous! Fresh, fresh, fresh! But it's not for beginners or those who rely on California rolls and other combination rolls. This is the real thing! Straight sushi or sashimi if you prefer with just a couple of hand rolls. Oh, the blue crab roll!! The owner prefers to give you what he chooses in the order... More

The chef makes the real thing-fresh from the fish market, so you get the best of the day. Obviously, the sushi varies from season to season. You pay by the piece, and an evening for two, with tea and beer, can easily hit $90+. But for special occasions, you can't beat this sushi.

This restaurant is famous for its "Omakase" (Sushi chief decides what to serve based on best availability.) The most remarkable are blue crab hand roll, chopped toro, and oysters. No California rolls or to go, please.

This place is just amazing. I mean its a little bit pricy. However, I didn't see the California Rolls, maybe I'm just blind. Anyways, this place is undeniably good and there are so many other good restaurants next to it too. Don't miss the also amazing korean bbq restaurant next to it and the taco shop across the street. They're... More

It's next to a check cashing office but don't let the location fool you. This place is the real deal! It's pricey but you get what you pay for.....THE BEST SUSHI. It's so fresh and the portions are generous. Thick slices of fish cover a ball of rice the size of a Peanut M&M. Go with "omakase" and trust the... More
