From Sashimi to small nabeyaki, yakitori, many kinds of appetizer. The price is very reasonable and taste is very similar to the ones you can have in Japan. The restaurant is always crowded and there is a waiting line. It is better to make a reservation. The restaurant is small so if you want to have an intimate night, then... More

Make a reservation! It's almost always very crowded, but the table turnover is not too bad. It's one of my favorite yakitori place. My favorite is their cucumber salad and their beef tongue skewer. So good! Great service. Pair of your meal with a apple soju!

Good "authentic" Japanese food here, but usually crowded. Be ready to wait for a table, especially Thurs-Sat.

It was well worth the hassle of a 1hr. Drive from Santa Monica down to Torrance. Torihei is as authentic an Izakaya restaurant you can find outside of Japan. 6 of us ate about 30% of the menu and we were pleased with every dish. We had skewers of liver and chicken and meatballs and bacon wrapped asparagus and washed... More

I agree with Raymond. This place could quite easily pass for any of the little yakitoris in Tokyo. Its a cool little party place frequented by the Asian pilots who stay at the Miyako. It has tables or you can sit at the bar. Its basically an a la carte menu served with plenty of pitchers of beer! Its in... More

Great service along with good food. It did feel like if I was at a yakitori place in Japan, but with more room and personal space. Would return if I was in the neighborhood again

Dining as a big group is a long wait but you can leave and come back at an assigned time. Staff is polite and friendly, service is great despite being busy. Their Yakitoris are one of the best ever - chicken skin, liver, heart, gizzard, and others. Really really good!
