Good pizza, by the slice, with soda, beer, and side options. The dining area is a fun, casual space, decorated like a NYC subway car.

The staff was very friendly and the pizza was great. I was a little disappointed in what was considered "New York" pizza but I just had a visual in my head of soft centered chewy crust and oil running down my arm to my elbow....More

Slice of NY is our go to pizza place when you just need a slice or two. Their garlic knots with pesto and marinara dip is tasty!

We got the meat lovers pizza. We didn't know what to expect based on the menu. The folks who took our order said the pizza would serve 6 people. It was incredibly delicious and huge! We ate in it for several days. Couldn't get over...More

I like the ambiance, all New York. Mets, MTA, NBC4, subway trains etc. the pizza is thin crust just like NY. We had large plain and large sausage, both are good

Really outstanding pizza. If you eat in it'll be a quick in n out. It's not about the restaurant it's about the pizza. What more is there to say other than it's great pizza

Being a New Yorker I had to try this pizza. Pleasantly surprised that a plain cheese pizza took me back. It was delicious. Great thin crust, tasty sauce and the cheese just like home. Going to go back and try other things soon.

The place is pretty simple with good pizza, a fast service, clean restrooms and decent beer choices. There are a lot of people that order to go, but you can sit inside and take your pizza into a nice environment with good music. If you...More

Description
We are a NY pizza shop. We serve slices and whole pies. I moved out here from NYC back in 1998 and within a couple of months, I started talking about a pizza shop. I wasn’t going to leave my hi-tech job to do it, but when corporate life was no longer for me, A Slice of New York was born, September 2006 in San Jose, CA. In January 2011, we opened up our second location in Sunnyvale, CA. It has features our original one does not: lots of seating, abundant parking, and beer on tap. We hope to see you soon.
