When you go here dont epect your pizza to arrive fast, everything is fresh and not pre-packed like some pizza chains. I have the 10" Veggie which was loaded with all you would want and more. Its worth stopping here after a day in the Red Woods when you can enjoy soming tasty to fill you up. If your from... More

They have a vegetarian "Brown Bear", but if you are looking for vegetarian dishes, I recommend getting the "Polar Bear" without chicken. They also make a white/garlic sauce with artichoke hearts and mushrooms which may not please everyone's palettes but I loved it. Boys got their meat lover "Black Bear". They also make a good garlic cheesy bread but I... More

Excellent!! Best pizza!! Service is a little slow but it's because they are a local mountain restaurant and their pizza is so good people drive from surrounding small communities and cities. They are located right off of Hwy 180, in Squaw Valley about 45 minutes from the next big city. Hwy 180 is the main highway going into the Kings... More

We got into the restaurant at 8:30pm, we were not even greeted and after we tried to order they told us in a rude wat they would have to make our pizza to go because they were closing soon even though the hours listed the restaurant closing at 9pm.

This is the kind of place where teenagers hang out and locals bring their grand-children and play card games together while waiting for their pizza. For carnivores there is the "Grizzly Growler": pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon, beef and Linguica; and the veggie choice is the Brown bear pizza: mushrooms, bell pepper, onions, olives and tomatoes. Eat on wide polished Cedar... More

Stopped here in the way to the Sequoia National Park. Honestly speaking just expected a local, below par place to fill our bellies before we got eaten by beats in the park, but no- this place was much better! The service was phenomenal. Very professional and courteous. We were greeted with a smile by a friendly young man (sorry don't... More

Ordered at the counter, pizzas didn't come till half an hour later. The food was well worth the wait. Restaurant has four to five beers on tap. On Hwy180 a few hundred yards from the the Squaw Valley Motel.

There's not much choice of where to eat in beautiful Squaw Valley on a Monday night and it was with some degree of reservation that we ventured into Bear Mountain Pizza. We needn't have worried though. The place is clean and welcoming and includes a drive thro' facility, a takeaway, a small bar and a large and perfectly pleasant restaurant... More

Got into Squaw Valley, CA 7:30PM on a Monday, with a good appetite. This is the only restaurant in town open on a Monday. So, my wife and I tried it. Very nice. A pizzeria/sub place, with a small arcade for the kids, and TV and beer for the adults. Also, ice cream for everyone! Food, service, and value were... More

Stopped here for a late pizza. Family owned place, not a luxury palace for sure. Pizza's were good, no more, no less. Not expensive and very friendly people.
