Have eaten at this restaurant for at least thirty years. It has always been a favorite until this last visit. Nothing seriously wrong just across the board everything has seemed to decline. The menu is extensive but on this occasion the food was very disappointing....Salad was unappealing and veal was dripping in sauce that lacked flavor. Have had same dishes occasionally in the past and on previous visits I found the food much fresher and much more tasty. The service was extremely slow- it took almost an hour to receive our meals. The waitress was friendly and seemed to work hard so I lay the blame on the kitchen. The restaurant was pretty full of families and a number of birthdays were being celebrated on this sunday evening which may have contributed to the delay. I will certainly give Bertolucci's another try since previously I always enjoyed the restaurant. Hopefully, this was just a bad night.More

What a fun experience. Visit this restaurant if you’re given the opportunity. It isn’t only your tastebuds what will thank you. The owner (I am assuming) fits the part, welcoming every guest and adding to the aura of the already fun feeling place. Tortellini, house...salad and veal saltimbocca were delicious!More

We were looking for a place close by to eat. I looked on Google maps and found this place. The reviews were good and we are glad we went there.

We were staying at the Double Tree in Brisbane and wanted a good meal. We found it at Bertolucci's, only a few miles away. Authentic Italian dishes served in a cozy atmosphere. A large bar area, and large dining room with old school booths. Enjoyed...Eggplant Parmigiana and a cup of minestrone soup. Everything is alacarte. Salad is on the menu and large enough to be shared. My only critism is that a salad is not included with your meal. Delicious pizza bread and warm crusty bread comes with your meal.More

I’ve been here several times and the Sodini family does a fabulous job of running this place. Good wine, good food and a more traditional style atmosphere.

Again, a trip advisor recommendation saw is eating here. We were close by and hungry. It’s a bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit. I had a risotto with Italian sausage which was a special. Mrs ate chicken Alfredo. She informed me...the chicken was nice but the sauce a little bland. Daughter ate about half the extremely large plate of spaghetti and meatballs. This meant I had to step up and polish off the rest. This was no hardship. The meatballs were great. Not overwhelmed with red sauce and tasting suitably fresh and..meaty. Risotto was nice as well. I liked the fact that bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar were left on the table as was a sizeable bowl of Parmesan. Many restaurants offer up a little, then magic away, presumably to deny the gluttons. Great meal, not too punchy on price. We never would have found or tried if not for Trip Advisor.More

We were a party of 7 - didn't book but on the recommendation of hotel concierge gave it a go. Had to wait about 30 minutes for a table - not a problem as we were told this up front and had a drink outside....Excellent starters - especially the clams. Pizzas enormous and reasonable - I think I would have preferred the more traditional Italian meat dishes that others in the party had.More

I heard this place has been here in South San Francisco for a long time. So we decided to try it. And we are happy with our choice. We had proscuito with melon, linguine seafood & tiramisu. The serving is very generous. Pricing is very...reasonable. Highly recommend itMore

Unbelievable! now these are some nice old-fashioned Italian recipes. This is how it’s done. I’ve been coming here for decades and I will never stop. It is family owned, family run, and a family environment. Try the veal scallopini or the egg plant Parmesan. You...can’t go wrong!! i’ve never tried a special that I didn’t love. So try the specials too! This restaurant deserves more than five stars they’ve been keeping it alive for decades long live Bertolucci‘s! Robert, Rosa, Scarlett and Justice MusgraveMore
