This is a typical pub type restaurant with food & drinks that are what you might expect. We stopped for a late lunch as we were downtown shopping. Service was initially very slow as it took longer than necessary to be greeted by anyone. The bartender finally provided a menu, and shortly afterwards we were greeted by a friendly waitress... We didn't have much choice since most places were closed or the wait was too long. We walked down this alley and had lunch. We had the cubano that was in a panini bread it was good. I had fish and chips the fish had a very strong old oil taste and the best thing about it were the fries.... More

Not only do we love the entire ambiance of the alley-way and pub, but the new menu is fantastic and the wait staff is wonderful!

We have been here before and it is a fun place to drop into. Good Pub food and of course beer and drinks. We wanted to try the Scotch egg appetizer but they were out! bummer, so we went the the Onion rings, a good pick. house made not the frozen battered stuff you get at other places. They have... More

We went to Murphy's for dinner, we had not eaten there in awhile. The food was less than stellar, which it has been in the past. My husband had fish and chips and the fish actually had no taste. The coleslaw was so spicy it was not edible for someone who can tolerate spice. I had the bean and shrimp... More

Trust me to end up at a pub drinking beer when surrounded by wine country. Didnt know if to give it 3 or 4 starts as was on the borderline. Despite what some had said I thought it had a good choice of beer. The food was as expected for this type of establishment (burgers etc) and was pretty good.... More

Basic fried pub grub and beer. Of course they also pour wine. Fine service and prices, the atmosphere a bit lacking.

I highly recommend the 'frickles' a spicey fried bread and butter pickle appetizer. We had a late lunch and started with the most yummy corn chowder I have ever tasted. I so need that recipe. The weather was lovely so we were able to sit outside to enjoy our meal. I would definitely revisit this restaurant.
