Stopped in just a little hungry. Had soup, bread and wine. Delicious! We were welcomed and made to feel very comfortable. The ambiance is warm and inviting. I have been able to sit outside in warmer weather and it's very nice.

The food was great, and it is always a plus when you begin and end your dining experience with “a little something extra” compliments of the chef,

A Portuguese-inspire menu seems unusual in the USA, but we much enjoyed our meal here. The servers were knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. All the dishes were good, and there were a few nice touches: a complementary 'shooter' made from golden and regular beetroot juices, and...More

Popped in for a late and light lunch after spending a bit of time wine tasting and it was an ideal break. The four of us had the $32 seven plate tapas which was good value, although we did need some extra of their nice...More

This restaurant came highly recommended but believe both my friend & I were underwhelmed by our main courses. I had the Bacalhau no Forno & my friend had he Feijoada Completa. Neither dish was what we expected. Mine was more like a bland fish cake...More

The first time we have been troubled by wasps, and unfortunately all inside tables were taken so we were unable to move. Now the good stuff... My husband ordered the Portuguese Red flight of wine and it was a change from California wines and ones...More

OK. I can't remember the name, but LaSalette's take on Brazil's national dish was terrific. Tasty and enjoyable. My friend had the branzino, and he enjoyed it. Our wives both had the sea bass filet and thought they were great. Service was very good. We...More

Description
Fresh, Inventive Mediterranean and Iberian Cuisine in the heart of the Sonoma Valley Wine Country.

Seafood and Portuguese Cuisine are our specialties. We offer a unique variety of fresh local and imported seafood specials daily including whole fish. The seafood selections on our menu are complimented by a variety of meat dishes ranging from the popular Pork Tenderloin stuffed with almonds, olives and figs to the, hard to find, Tripe Porto Style. Many of these dishes come steaming hot out of the wood-burning oven and fill the dining room with the exotic aromas of true Mediterranean cuisine. The menu reflects the commitment of Chef and Owner Manuel Azevedo to creating the unique culinary delights of his native Portugal and its neighbors. LaSalette Restaurant is proudly one of Zagat Surveys top rated restaurants in Sonoma. See our web site for the complete menu and a look inside our dining room, which features an open kitchen and decor that sends you back in time to old Lisbon.
