We have been going to this bakery for years and it never disappoints. The bread is piled on a huge counter with every imaginable combination--olive, rosemary/garlic and other savory options. I am a scone fan and hunt down the best wherever we travel...and these are some of the BEST! There is a beautiful garden on the grounds that adds to... More

We were staying about a mile away and had scones and a sticky bun two mornings in a row. I loved all of the flavors that we tried, but Meyer lemon cherry was my favorite. The place was packed both mornings (about 8:30). Coffee was okay but we had better elsewhere. The sticky bun was enormous. I think it had... More

Our kids have gone to summer camp in Occidental for many years, and every time--EVERY TIME--we go up, we stop at Wildflour Bakery. Our family affectionately calls it "The Hippy Bakery", but they are without a doubt the best bakery I've every visited. First off--scones. They have such a variety of flavors that it's sometimes hard to choose (hint: don't... More

The earlier you get there in the morning, the better the selection. Plenty of parking. Plenty of friendly helpers. Local ingredients. Eclectic flavor sat times. A winner!

I live in SF, and we have Tartine and Arizmendi, so you know I mean what I say when I praise Wild Flour as the BEST. We have been several times and have always had our socks knocked off! They use fresh ingredients (you can walk the garden and see some of the things they use, including lavendar, meyer lemon,... More

If you find yourself in the area, I suggest you make sure you have cash on hand... Stopping in to grab some delicious baked goods and or even coffee... They have a variety of breads that can compliment any home cooked meal.. or grab some sweet bread and enjoy the eclectic flavors of goodness as a desert...

A sweet spot to chill on the way to the Sonoma Coast beaches and parks. Grab your sweet bread (or savory) and a cup of java. Bring it to the back in Jed's garden and relax. Ask for samples before settling on your choice of the many delicious breads. One to eat at the bakery and another to take home.

We have been to Wildflour bakery many times over the past 15 or so years. Their bread is consistantly excellent and innovative. I am especially partial to their fruit infused fugasse's.

Delicious bread loaf that serves as lunch out on the trail. They also have coffee and a wonderful garden to hang out in.

This is a one-of-a-kind bakery that is a 'must visit' when traveling to or from the Bodega Coast. Nothing I have ever bought there has been unsatisfying and typically the bread never makes it hone to share with others! Its just that good.
