This is a great restaurant in Seal Beach! High quality food and great service. I would have given a 5/5, but the seating area on the second floor could use some updating. If you can, sit on the main floor, the ambiance is much better.

We've been going to Walts for 30+ years. The food and service are both excellent. The blackened cat fish is incredible. The salmon exceptional. You'll need to try an oak grilled artichoke! Have never had a meal we were not totally satisfied with. I'm a...More

We were in the area and came across this establishment. Very clean and excellent service. They served hot sliced sourdough bread before the meal. Everything was delicious. Why the mediocre rating? Was very pricey and the portions were so small. We ordered the spicy mussels...More

Our first time at Walt's Wharf, it has excellent staff and our waitress was very pleasant and assising to all our needs. The wine corking fee is minimal, when compared to other restaurants. I must say, my food was mediocre at best, about half of...More

This is a great fish and seafood grill and bar. All very fresh. The steamers are a meal is themselves. The raw fish the best (Pokie Bowl, wow!) Also a very nice place to watch the world go by with a nice drink.

I don't say that lightly. I've eaten at Walt's over 1,000 times over the years and it is simply always amazing. Their fish selection is wonderful, their wine list compliments their menu so well and everything is mouth watering. If you haven't eaten at Walt's...More

Walt's Wharf, upstairs with linen tablecloths and real flatware, is a nice change from the plastic fork places near the beach. The food is priced accordingly. Not cheap, but worth the price. Their Boston clam chowder is fantastic--creamy and meaty. Walt's salad with walnuts, goat...More

I had Sunday lunch with a friend. I ordered the Trout and it is wonderful. It has a butter caper sauce and melts in your mouth. The green beans are real garlicky which I enjoyed. She ordered the Crab Benedict. Sounded better than it was....More

Wonderful awesome food and close to great hotel called Pacific Inn. It is walking distance to the beach and shops. When we come to the beach we always come to Walts Wharf, we love the artichoke and oak grilled fish.

We were looking forward to eating some good seafood at Walt's Wharf in Seal Beach but found it to be just ordinary. We thought the food and drinks were very overpriced. I had chicken and my husband had the steak. It was okay but not...More

I have not found a good hotel right in downtown Seal Beach. I generally stay at the Hilton Hampton Inn on Seal Beach Blvd or the Best Western in Sunset Beach. In either case you would need to drive. Try to get to Main St... More

I always park on Main St, but get there around 4.30-5p. It is 2 hr parking but that limit ends at 6p. If not on Main, try Central Ave.

It's a high end place to dine. So if you have a child maybe who can sit without crying through a meal then yes. It's darker inside for atmosphere for romantic dining and i see business groups.
