My companions liked their crab rolls so if crab is important this is the place, but $36 for a sandwich seemed high, even in Sausalito. My chowder was good but lukewarm, and they left off the salad dressing. Nice relaxed atmosphere but maybe they're coasting on the reputation of the crab rolls.

I say that for two reasons. 1. Dang, we just paid $70 for lunch (2 sandwiches, a beer, and a glass of wine). 2. Dang! That crab roll was so good. Tons of crab. And not slathered in sauce that hides the flavor. Plus a nice soft bun that also didn't take away from the flavor of the crab.

It has become busier over the years, but still makes the best seafood specials of anyone around. The relaxed atmosphere and particular food sourcing, will bring me back for many years to come. PLus, go for a walk and check out the Tall Ship after you eat.

This is an informal fish place, on the pier, with outstanding food. Not much more to say. The Portuguese chowder is great. You must order at the counter, buy the bring your food to you. One quirk is that the restrooms are outside and around the corner. But there are signs pointing the way.

It just doesn't get any fresher than what is served here. When the menu of the day also includes the name of the fishing vessel you know it's really fresh. A great place to go for an evening, but forewarned it is not a formal dining place it's basically picnic tables inside and out. Need to stand in line place... More

I'm in California for work about 3 times a year. And I always make a pit stop at FISH. Fresh farm to table picnic style dinning. Always on point!!

It's a picnic restaurant with downtown San Francisco prices! We both had a crab sandwich. I had fries which were do you delicious! My wife had it with a salad. I had one beer and my wife had tea. $82.00.

The quality of white clam chowder was really low, the $3 oysters were not that great either. Don't think this is a 4 star restaurant. Service was good nonetheless.

We did enjoy the food here, fresh steamed fish, pasta, crab, they had a small but nice menu. My only issue was on a cold day with 2 young kids, there is no seating, its first come first sit. When you have small kids, it was tough to keep them entertained until a table become available. I didn't know this... More
